I bought it for my OH because we both loved the series.

Tonight he is cooking me the vegetable biryani with the flatbreads. I have picked up two bags of salad for 20p each at tesco and some mango chutney and sour cream. I'm very excited by it!

Time to eat some humble pie because I just made the Cambodian Wedding Feast and served it with flatbreads and hummus (both home made) and the OH said it was fantastic. I must admit it was truely lush so can heartily recommend it.
  • I loved the mushroom stoup-it was really yummy, and the dumplings were very filling (I had never made dumplings before)
The roasted sprouts were really good, and the swede speltotto was tasty and filling. I am sure I have made other things from it, but my brain escapes me....

On the plan for next month is :
North african squash and chickpea stew
    Chachouka
    Macaroni peas
    Dorotas granados
    and hopefully a few more...

I shouldn't have subscribed to this thread because now I'm just going to have to go and buy the book!
  • *carefully avoids the hype of TV Show and HFW book purchases soaring steadily up the charts*
HFW has merit but his Vegetarian Experiment should have been a Year long IMHO. It was also like all his books a TV Tie in so marketing is implicit in the mix, something I don't like.
I just save recipes free from The Gaurdian and other quality sites to my [paid] Evernote.
( I do love Recipe books by the way but it has to solve problems)
