It's nice to know I'm not fake. :rotfl:

Is that *raises arm and reveals bushy armpit*? I tell you what, sometimes I wish I didn't bother, all this shaving malarky is a rite old pain in the wotsit.
The opposite of what you know...is also true

I used to wear clip in extensions as I had quite long hair, but due to an eating disorder, a lot of my hair fell out, it's still not perfect now, but I've had it cut much shorter (past the shoulders though) and with layers and whatnot and hairspray, I can have "volumunious" hair, without clipping them in. I would buy some again but I just had my hair dyed and I doubt I could find a spot on match perfect colour (was easier before when it was black)

Dont think there is anything wrong with enhancing your appearence. Although, there is another parent at DD's school, and she looks like Jordon, but worse, her hair extensions are just atrocious, just look like dried up non moving wool, and her fake tan isnt even orange, its splorange, combine that with the bright red circles of blusher on her cheeks (a la ragdoll style) and blue eyeshadow up to the crayola eyebrows, and I am just like  especially when you overhear her taking the mick out of other peoples hair/clothes etc. I dont think thigh high boots are really appropriate to be dropping your child off in, esp with the rest of her get up :rotfl: and she has the nerve to scathing remark on people who have thrown on a fleece :rotfl:

Id love fake nails, but Id probablys bite those too, and I have to type a lot so I figure they'd bother me. Has anyone had lash extensions? I was thinking of getting some.

I used to nibble the skin around my nails & I type all day, I leave them alone with acrylics on & I can type easily.

I LOVE false eyelashes, they feel a little heavy, but VERY glamorous.

My DD wears her synthetic extensions when she's going out anywhere. Hasn't been blessed with the same thick hair as me, and after years of bleaching has been left in very poor condition. It just doesn't grow now. Finally her hair started to grow and the condition started to improve when... she decides to bleach it again.. AARGH blaady kids!

I think the world would be much nicer if we all stopped trashing each other because of the way we look! I can think of beautiful women who are pale, tanned, curvy, slim, long haired, short haired, with big or small boobs. If you feel comfortable, confident and sexy then that's brilliant; it doesn't matter how you get there and it certainly isn't anyone else's business.

Right now I'm natural, but have tanned (and probably will again come next year, despite the £££ it costs!) and had my nails done regularly for about 5 years but always short - I preferred the uniform look and liked that the paint won't chip rather than having them long - yet I really don't see the need to judge each other on the way we look so much. We get enough of that from the media, why do it to each other!?

See I can't put on false lashes, as for some reason, Im rubbish and get glue all over my eyelids and then about 20minutes later the lash is on my cheek!

May invest in some of the eyelash extentions so I look fab at NY :o

.............and to think I've missed out on reading this contentious thread for the past week.

"Tacky Hair". I just thought it was a thread about an OP who needed clarifying shampoo :p. Silly me!

What is so wrong with using the different tools at your disposal? :undecided

It doesn't make you less of a woman if you decide you wanna wear a bit of lippy during the day or spritz on a bit of perfume.

I don't bite my nails, never ever touch them. I oil them up and keep them clipped short - I have to, with my job - but when I decide to L&P them up, they look beautiful for a while but then I start chomping on them :o
