well out of those 2 I still prefer the natural one!

I knew someone would say that but 90% of people would admit Cheryl Cole is stunning and Adele is below average!

    90%?

I think Adele is much prettier than Cheryl and although I haven't got the time to poll 'most people', I doubt that 90% would agree with you.

not as stupid as bitten nails, crap short hair and pasty white women.

As someone with naturally very pale skin, I find your post quite offensive. As another poster said, you wouldn't dare say something like that about people with black skin, so why is it ok to criticise those with very white skin?

Nail length, hair length and fake tan are choices, so criticise away... but having a go at people for showing their natural skin tone? Grow up.

It's 100% how you do it as to whether anything fake looks convincing or awful. Many celebrities/people you see on tv/photos have had a lot more work done than you would think. Even those "natural beauties" have often visited some of America's finest plastic surgeons and 99% of women in photos or film have hair extensions in, it's just so well done that it looks natural. Even if (like me- i work in beauty) you know what to look for, you sometimes can't spot it. Have you ever seen someone whose boobs that big hold that well in a bra-free dress? or with those curves and that muscle tone? It's all well done fakery.

Even when I'm fully made up I go for a natural look and people are always saying "oh you're so lucky you have thick hair/that fair tan/good bone structure" etc but no! I just know how to apply make up in a way that enhances my natural features, know the best fake tans and how to apply them to contour my body and how to style hair extensions. I don't spend a forture, it doesn't take long and I don't look fake- even the people I work with can't spot it. Simply shaping eye brows with brow powder, a touch of bronzer and a quick "au naturel" hair style with your extensions can make you look more awake, more attractive and feel more confident in less than five minutes. I much prefer my five minute morning routine which makes me look and feel better and often makes people take me more seriously, than going around looking like a state :)

Hair extensions normally look bloody awful, occasionally look ok but never look real.I appreciate that not everyone's hair grows quickly but ......;):D
But if you see someone with hair extensions that look real, you'll think it's real. So you can't say it never looks real, because if it does you won't know!

I haven't been well for a few days so haven't been posting on here. I've come had a look at this thread and am shocked how nasty people are being:(

Well said to Juno and adelight, I feel the same, I wear hair extensions every day and yes they are synthetic however I also get compliments regularly about my hair and not one person has ever guessed I have extensions, I always tell people when they say how nice my hair is though that they can buy it too;), I enhance what I have got and it works, I love the natural look, dd does it particularly well, but its not for me and lets face it we have beauty products and advice available to us so easily now if you want to why not take advantage?

Those of you who consider yourselves to have natural beauty and don't appreciate others looking good because of fakery should really check whats inside you isn't ugly and shining through, your natural beauty may not be as obvious as you think;)

While I'm on the subject, Adele is far from a natural look fan she wears fake hair, eyelashes, nails and huge amounts of make up but most people when they first look at her see that she is overweight not an attractive woman, harsh but true.
Thank you for this site Martin

Sadly I agree with this. A lot of people assume she's natural because she's overweight which is confusing, maybe they're thinking of her as a realistic attractive normal woman more than someone natural attractive.
Putting all Cheryl Cole's obviously personality flaws aside (fighting isn't pretty!), look back at photos of her pre-fame and she was a good looking teen. Luscious hair, good skin, nice face and figure that she looks after, it's just a shame she feels the need to load up on comedy wigs and make up.

  • Jesus people!!! Each to thier own :)

I wear clip in extensions some times, my hair is very very fine and it thickens it up. I also don't see the problem with a spray tan, eyelashes etc. If it gives people more confidence and makes them feel better about themselves, whats the harm in that?

These products are marketed and sold to enhance what people already have. Some of us are not blessed with long eyelashes or thick hair, and they will try products to achieve that look.

Not everyone who uses the products is a Katie Price clone...

I would judge someone if they used the products, just as I wouldnt judge someone if they didn't.
