I live outside Belfast, in small village about 20miles from the City, i dont think my law i would be in a smokeless zone just wondering if it would do any harm to my stove, as getting it put in shortly and want to stock up0

Household coal Im lead to believe makes for a lot of soot in a stove which will mean what you save on coal you will be paying out for sweeping0 -
She means you use smokeless. 'Household' merely means old fashioned coal. Depending on the type of smokeless you buy, you generally won't be dealing with a fuel type any where near as sooty as household. High quality anthracite such as Esse A, a commonly stocked smokeless coal, is almost clean to the touch for example.0

Be careful if you burn housecoal on a stove, if you put a load onto a hot fire and then close it down the build up of coal gas can cause an explosion. A friend of mine had the lid of his Clearview blown off when he did this!
I use Stoveheat or Pureheat - £56.10 for 150kg 3 weeks ago.0 -
what would be the best coal for our stove from this list...in your opinion

I would start with the eco brite till you get used to your stove. Anthracite can be a mare to get lit and burning well0
