Guests left at lunch time Natty...... I must admit I'd love a pair of loubies one day. Perhaps once the mortgage has bitten the dust it can be a gift to myself.
I'm away with work for a few days next week, sad that I will miss the family but happy that I might see some sunshine.
I've just booked some flights for a works trip in feb and went through quidco. £36, don't mind if I do.
I shall now be volunteering to book all flights going forwards, might aswell earn a few pounds in cash back.
Moved £8.50 to the mortgage earlier - quidco payment.
Was lovely to have my baby niece here, she's getting really chunky now and very cute.0 -

Hi Lulabelle
I was interested to read this - I regularly get asked to buy stuff for my boss (and his wife) and have started to go through my TCB account to do it - I guess I was feeling a bit guilty for doing so and wondered what other people thought. I do check that I can't get the items cheaper elsewhere first but in the end if I can get it via TCB I do so and so far have not said anything about the cash back that I get. I would be interested in other's thoughts about whether everyone thinks this is OK or not?
Thanks AG4 February 2014 - Mortgage Free

I've always booked my own business travel for the last 5 years or so. I'm also a part owner of our company, so I don't really give it a second thought.... I booked the flights on the ba website, the only difference being that I clicked through from the quidco website........ I'm just annoyed with myself that I didn't do it sooner really.
I'll prob mention it to my business partner, he'll just laugh as he thinks I'm a greedy cow anyway and is amused (and a little bit impressed) with my money obsessive/saving ways......
I can't immediately think that there is a problem with you going via quidco for the things you've been asked to purchase for your boss. If you're getting them the best price and doing it in an efficient way, then it seems fine to me. However, if its something that troubles you, then I dnt know whether it would be worth mentioning it to them. More of a peace of mind thing for yourself? :A0 -

officially it may be written in the T&Cs of your contract that you are not to benefit from things like this. For example, if we submit a receipt for expenses, they can refuse to pay it if we've claimed tesco clubcards points on the purchase.
TCP and the like is untraceable on any expenses, as you submit receipts from the end company.
If I were you I'd carry on and enjoy the perk

Furthest I get to travel with work is a frequent dash across the ring road to our other site. Expected to go on medilink at that.
Did once get an all expenses trip to a southampton roundabout based travel inn for a conference, unfortunately it is currently in my top 5 grottiest places ever stayed list, i think its worth noting I did a whole year backpacing plus several 1 month backpacking excursions.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016....
