It is really beautiful. It brings tears to my eyes, in the same way I imagine my eyes would water at the price tag
I know, ridiculously expensive... In the bright side, it was originally £775 but I got mine (and the replacement) in the sale for £542... Still stupid I know, but I'd never pay full price.
I always make sure I get a bargain (I know that doesn't make sense) so that if and when I sell I never lose any money....
So I guess, instead of putting my money in to savings, I buy a bag at the right price, enjoy using it and then sell it on pretty much for what I paid. Given that the interest rates are pants, it means I get to enjoy a lovely bag rather than earning a few quid in interest. :T
Makes sense to me anyway. :rotfl:0 -
Perhaps one day I will be in a position to buy one of your second hand Mulberrys (a girl can dream;))February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D
C'mon nattypants:cool:0 -
Most of my bags are second or third or forth hand!
I know a bunch of total bag nutters (they are actually very lovely ladies) who buy, never use and then sell at a loss......0 -
Anyway, I fear that I'm polluting my diary (forum?) with all of this silly bag talk, so I'm not going to mention them again. I'm going to be focusing on saving and overpaying the mortgage!
Food shopping tomorrow.... Should have gone this morning but ds1 stropped and I couldn't bare having to drag him around Aldi and tesco with me... So postponed until tomorrow morning.0 -

Oh, I'm not knocking, I'm salivating!
I'm not one to talk, a few years ago I emptied my savings account to build the exact spec I wanted for my computer.. and I can't really sell that on
Besides, that's a genius plan! You get to have what you want, use it and sell it on, only losing out on the cost of a Primark handbag! Why did I not think of this? My Primark handbag is looking a bit tatty....0 -

Don't worry, if I did the OH would kill me :rotfl:0 -
I did the food shopping and spent £49 in aldi and £25 in tesco.... Enough meals for a week and some batch cooking that will provide a further 12 meals (lots of the same but they can be eaten intermittently over the next few weeks, months etc).
I'll do the same for the next few weeks until the freezer is full.
We had family yesterday and they are leaving at lunch. We've all been playing board games in the kitchen whilst I started some of the cooking.
Quesadillas for lunch today, not has them for ages.
Perhaps some hoovering and a bit more batch cooking this afternoon.0
