I'm feeling like I really need to get some focus in regards to sorting this bl**dy mortgage out......

It's all fine and well having my new carpets and some painting done, but I'm getting seriously nervous now about the amount of money that has been spent......

    ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!

I've played around with my signature - to regain some focus (and make it look prettier!)

New signature looking very pretty there Lulabelle - maybe you should add an additional line that compares your worth in handbags vs mortgage debt? :rotfl:

£700 for two handbags?! With the exception of Mrs E's rings and our laptop, I can't think of anything we own that cost that much!

Hmmmm, maybe a good idea there Ed..... I know, I know... £700 for 2 handbags!! I have nothing in my defence and I fear that if I say any more on this subject, I will just cause more shock and horror, so I'm going to keep stum and plead the 5th............

slopes away quietly and keeps quiet about the remaining bags....

Now there's an idea MRN! I was addicted to handbags for a while.... Feels stupid now, but there we have it. I still look a little bit, but I've not been tempted to buy one and I've downsized my collection and been sensible with the proceeds....

I don't drink (much), don't smoke, don't go out much etc, so I guess this was my vice. I'm not really in to buying lots of clothes and I don't do jewellery, but I am a sucker for nice things; I love nice shoes/boots, coats/jackets, bags/purse and I confess to having a nice watch - however, I've had my watch for 10 years and have worn it every day since I bought it.

I'd much rather have a few nice things than a wardrobe full of stuff that either falls to bits or goes out of fashion. I'm quite simple/classic in my style so if I buy something it tends to last me for many years....

Just booked for our little Company (business partner and myself and our respective spouses) to have a nice Christmas get together dinner together... a lovely Italian restaurant, I hope it's nice otherwise I will be to blame. I relied on Trip Advisor as we are meeting somewhere in the middle...

Day off tomorrow to finish the Christmas shopping - but since the shopping is actually finished (as of this afternoon), then it will just be mooching with some coffee and lunch stops as we go....

London on Thursday for a Christmas/annual celebration with my business partner, we've done it every year since we started working together... a nice late lunch somewhere lovely and a bottle of wine to celebrate the years successes and laugh about the failures.....

Mr Painter man arrived and has started the job..... watch this space!

At the prices you're paying they'll have to :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Okay, so you have spent a bit of money on your home - I would call THAT an investment.

Also you have OVERPAID by £25,135:T I mean, c'mon give yourself some credit here girl:grinheart

Seriously, I could never meet this level of O/P (well not the way I am with MOPS:o)

I am so looking forward to getting my tax code sorted out for once and for all - although that won't happen until April 13 so should be able to up the MOPs at this point.

Then November 2013 my monthly payment should drop (as product ends), although - although this is where I embarrassingly don't know what to do for the best, would you recommend that I keep monthly payments the same and decrease the years or with the new decreased monthly payment, go hell for leather on the overpayments?

    Help:o
