I wonder if F&B will see an increase in sales, lol!

By next weekend it will all be done (hopefully)..... Like you say fortune, it does become a little bit addictive, we are already considering which rooms will be tackled in the New Year...... I think our kitchen/diner/family area will be next. So, more samples will be required!

Tilly, do let us know what you think to the colours and what you decide to go with......

After all the discussion on F&B paints, I've sent off for a colour chart as we need to do the hall stairs and landing. I will get a quote for the New Year

I've just ordered one too, much to Mr Skittles disgust:rotfl:

The Farrows cream looks lovely and warm. We are apple white at the moment but I'm toying with the idea of greys.

For light and airy paint, have you tried Dulux Light and Luminous range? I thought it was a load of cobblers but it made the space we painted look huge and everyone comments on the room when they go in about how lovely and light it is!

Thanks Ammonite, it certainly sounds like it would be worth a try... however the F&B paint has been chosen and purchased awaiting the arrival of Mr painting man tomorrow......

I do hope that it turns out nice......

On the money saving front - lunch was some leftover Sunday dinner stuff, my own version of Bubble & Squeak.... very nice and filling and with zero cost.

Nothing else much to report really, yawn

Ah, used my second tesco clubcard voucher yesterday - so a further 1,000 points for simply paying using my Amex.

My Amex is a card from the business, so just need to remember to pay some money to the business account to cover what I spent.

2,000 extra points - not bad at all really....

Enjoye a lovely dinner, spicy chicken rice stuff with leftover chicken frm yesterday's roast.... We seem this the following day after roast chicken all of the time, but it's very tasty and comes in cheap - does for a dinner and also one lunch portion for DH. Bearing in mind that I also have my bubble and squeak concoction for a couple of lunches, I'm amazed at how far it all goes. To think I used to just bin everything.........

We had fortunes sausage and lentils on sat night, very nice indeed but it only did for one dinner..... Might need to pad it out a bit more next time we have it.

DH and I are having our Christmas shopping day off together on Wednesday. Shopping pretty much done, so we will just mooch, have an eggnog latte and then a nice late lunch (so we don't need any dinner).....

Sister and family are coming at the weekend, really looking forward to it, I think we will treat the boys (and men) to some ice skating... We (suster and I) will drink spiced chai lattes and watch them......

Natty, I know you'll be disappointed but m doing amazingly well at resisting the sales...... There have been sme great discounts at some very fancy places and I haven't really peeked, well, I peeked, but I wasn't tempted. I didn't mean to enable you but Barbour coats can be purchased with 30% discount. Rather than being bad and enabling everyone, I won't post details so pm me if you want the info......

    or

b). I am just plain greedy and crave anything and everything

I will let you make up your own minds which category I fall into:D

I'm always clicking on the report spam button on my iPad when I'm scrolling through the posts...... Oops.

Eggnog - did you ever watch national lampoons Christmas vacation? We watch it every year, it's a tradition, one of my favourite films. I love the eggnog cups and bowl - you can buy them but they come from the states so postage is a fortune.

For anyone with a sense of humour who has not seen this film, I really do recommend it, very funny IMO.

Anyway, I just make do with eggnog lattes from Starbucks, my festive treat. Rediculously heigh in calories though.....

Do you know what, I think I'll order NLCV as a stocking filler for my son, when really it's for me (I've already done this with 'Life's too Short') MHWAHAHAHA
