Wow - how cold?
Thank goodness I am working from home. The house is freezing but I have my hot fan on in my office to keep me warm. Seems a shame to put the heating on just for me.
Had a fairly busy morning so far.. time for lunch which will be homemade vegetable soup from the fridge from the other day.
Today will need to be NSD as I was due to be paid some money today and it hasn't arrived and it wont be here until the end of the week! I've emailed DH to advise so that he doesn't go spending!!
Dinner tonight is going to be some sort of chicken/rice concoction made with left over roast chicken from Sunday. It will have peppers, onions, olives, chilli, paprika, cayenne, tomatoes and some other bits and pieces in it - hopefully it will be nice and tasty.0 -

Last time I text OH to say "no spending, joint account running low" he replied "no problems I'm away for the next two weeks so won't need feeding, I forgot to tell you" !!!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Oops - thank goodness you text OH otherwise you would have perhaps called a search party!
Veg soup was lovely - I added a bit of tabasco to spice it up a bit. I'm now hankering after something sweet so I'm off to look through the kids pumpkin bowls to snaffle some of their Halloween treats.0 -
It's pretty much 12 months since I started my diary......
Nov 2011 - Mortgage o/s = 134,309
Nov 2012 - Mortgage o/s = 107,933
Total OP = 26,3760 -
I need to start thinking about my targets for 2013.....
This time it will be a OP target AND a Savings target0 -
The spicy chicken rice concoction was very nice indeed. We will definitely have it again when we have left over roast chicken.
Today has been a NSD - although to be fair, we had no choice!
I've just sold a tube of cream that came with part of a gift pack at the beginning of the year. £6 - WOW! Sold to a "virtual friend" through a private forum so at least I don't need to pay any fees!
Now, what shall I do with my £6? OP? Save? Go wild? Decisions, decisions!!0 -

Go wild - I'd love to read the outcome on your thread!
You could try to re-invest somehow and see how much you can turn that freebie into!!!MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
