I know, tell me about it! It's going straight into my "war chest" account until the CAB tell me what debt to pay off first etc.
I usually shop in Sainsbury's but was in Tesco anyway so thought I'd use the bonus point coupons but only buy just what was needed to qualify for them. You get 1 point per £2 fuel at Tesco and 1 point per litre at Sainsbury's but Clubcard points are worth twice Nectar points so at the current £1.27 per litre which gives better value? I think you're right with Tesco but not sure as my head isn't in a maths mood just now. Lol.

Oh my, that does look nice. Might have to go for a simpler one in the meantime so that I don't have to buy too many extra items as meant to be running down my current stocks.
Where do you normally shop then since you don't use your bonus Tesco points? I haven't had that Sainsbury's voucher; was it through the post or at the till? Hi Marty I spotted you on Luna's diary so thought I'd read yours *waves*.
I have an idea to get you to stop impulse buying
If you see something you want, make a note of it, hide the note for two weeks. If after two weeks has passed you think you still need the item, then buy it. This gives you time to see if you can find a cheaper method of solving the issue you have, for instance buying fleece fabric from a fabric shop instead of buying new blankets.
I'm really into making things myself at the moment, but like you I magpie shop.... I see something shiny and decide I have to have it there and then. I haven't solved this yet but I'm hoping to do so, as I spend too much money on things.
Looking forward to reading more from you.

Hey Kerri,
Thanks for joining me. Do you have a diary too?
I was thinking about looking in fabric and charity shops for material for throws and cushion covers although I don't know how to sew. I could borrow my mum's sewing machine which she doesn't use but wouldn't have a clue where to start!

I see from your diary that you didn't resist Asda but hope you managed to resist spending on unnecessary things and got lots of staples to last you until December. I avoid the local Asda Wal-Mart Supercentre as there are too many extras to tempt you and personally I'm not a fan of the shop. You tend to get more of those "save £x when you spend £xx" when you don't shop at Sainsbury's as they are to tempt you back.Council Tax £1,928.85, Fines £90.00, Old Car Tax £267.00, Gas £337.25, Electric £54.42
