Heh, what's the worst that can happen. Small claims court - no costs claimable anyway. Seems to me that there would be a decent argument about proportionality too. £70 fine for 10 mins over on a £1.20/hr. It's not like I didn't try to pay them for parking.

It won't. NCP are a thriving company. They don't need the hassle or expense of being told by a judge that the charge isn't enforceable. Enough people get conned by their letters to keep them thriving, without that.0
