If you or oh cannot drive, have you got a friend that can drive a van if you hired one? That is what I did years ago, when I moved down south. I hired a box van and my cousins' husband drove it and I followed in my car. Then he drove it back empty :)

Do you not know anyone who has they're own van (preferably 1 they own rather than a works van to prevent any issues)

Thanks everyone. I went via the Shiply website, and got 4 bids for the job, ranging from £34 to £115 to do it.

I have accepted one of the bids (actually the cheapest, who has 100% positive feedback on the 56 jobs he's done) and await contact from the bidding company. I'll let you know how it goes.
I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say. :)
  • Wasn't he going on Friday?? It wasn't Friday yet when you posted this!! I know meeting up with someone from online might not be everyone's cup of tea but I don't know what other suggestions you could have expected when you have already said you can't hire a van or pay a fortune.

She - and yes she did go on Friday had a lovely time and was back last night. ;)
If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
