RL can be hard, especially when there is so much going on emotionally and MSE wise.
Heres to a good week for you.

Good news about the f & f? I can't remember if you've been saving for them. I guess if it would save that much the f & f offer must be pretty hefty? Perhaps you could offer a lower amount once you've managed to save up?CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420

Hi V, OHs offer came out of the blue. We really need our emergency fund to be sorted, and one of the cars will need replacing as it wasn't pass it's next MOT without more money than it is worth spending on it.
This week need to pay balance of school trip. DS3s school trousers are looking a bit short, I've suggested turning them into shorts but he's having none of it.LOL.
Need to sort DS1s ticket home for the summer.

Has anyone seen my mojo?? Seriously I just can't get focused.
DS1 is no longer coming home this summer (he's managed to bag some work experience which is great but means he won't be coming home.:( ) which although I am so pleased for him, inside it makes me feel sad and emotional.
What is also making me feel sad and yes maybe slightly jealous is seeing everyone's holiday snaps on social media. It's been so long since we had a sun, sea and sangria holiday. Anyway I've got next week off work so hope the weather picks up.
Right, back to our finances....we currently have quite a poorly car. We have £500 in our emergency fund but that isnt going to pay for the repairs or replace the car, so we're a bit stuck. we hoped it would last the summer or at least until its MOT in September but that doesn't look like the case.
In other news, school trip paid for and childcare paid. :T
I've decided we're going to have a mahoosive clear out in the house and I'll have a real good go on selling stuff, donating stuff or just generally clearing out. I really don't buy much stuff so how come our house just fills up with bits and pieces?.:rotfl:
The weather looks like it's going to pick up later so will carry on with the washing and pegging out. Fingers crossed it will brighten up later. I've got some vouchers for a major store and was thinking of using them to buy new bits for me (nothing fancy just essentials) so might take a triip to the retail park later.
Again I haven't kept a track of our NSDs this month but we are keeping up the 365 day money jar. Also forgot to mention we need a new toilet seat, heavens know what we do to them.
Think that's all for now. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Well the weather turned out nice after all yesterday afternoon. I pegged out in the drizzle and it dried just lovely in the end.:)
On the flip side, some of the household have been hit by a sickness bug last night so I've got another two loads of washing to do today.
Yesterday afternoon we purchased a new toilet seat, fitted it and it's not quite the right size. Too late to take It back, it will have to do for now. Also spent £16 in the cheapy shop, stocked up the cleaning stuff I use. Also snacks for the movie night last night.....which didn't happen.:(
Had to get petrol too £35. Didn't make it to spend my vouchers as the kids started to feel poorly.
Also negotiated a new mobile deal for DS2......yes I know we should be sim only and it's not very MSE but I managed to get a cheaper deal, more data and the upfront cost squashed...and a new phone. So all in all we are paying less than before.
Today OH is playing footie in a charity match, not sure we'll go and watch as DS3 is still in bed and DS2 is on the sofa. I've sorted my purse out, OHs got his donation and money for a well earned pint after :rotfl: I've sent DS1 his money but haven't paid debts yet.
Thinking I'll do loads of jobs around the house today, colour my hair tonight and then tomorrow we can chill out.

Hi Alice,
Hope you managed to relax a bit over the bank holiday weekend despite the sickness bug. Have your dc recovered now?
Re the sun sand and sangria wistful thinking I was wondering if the money you usually send to ds1 for his flight home could be used to fly you there? I know you said it would be great to be able to go for his graduation. I also realise that there's the car and your OH might feel left out. But I dare say it's you who does most of the planning, saving and scrimping to keep the family on track, not to mention the actual work. Hi jubilee, thank you for your post. Glad it's not just me re the holiday photos.....::rotfl: Im dead jealous really.
. Love pegging out. :T. Hope you have more ups than downs. Xx
Hi V, yeah everyone back to normal thankfully. You can tell kids were poorly there is still food on the fridge.:rotfl:. Taking a trip out to see DS1 on my own is something I've thought about on many occasion.:o. But I just couldn't do it, you know me. Thank you for thinking of me though.
We are still planning either a trip for his graduation or if we don't make that just before he has to come home (when his visa runs out). We've had to borrow money for some of his previous flights from my parents and then pay it back. Although we did manage to save.

I had a very productive day today. I was determined not to get caught up on social media this morning and waste a day. We've cut the grass in the front, trimmed all the edges, weeded the borders out the front, swept the drive. Out the back cut the grass, trimmed the edges, weeded the patio. Cleaned the garage door. Tidied, dusted, Vacuumed and disinfected the whole house. Cooked stir fry for tea. Then cleaned the whole kitchen......the kitchen has been looking very untidy just lately. Washed down all the cupboard doors, cleaned out under the sink and sorted all the paperwork on the side. It's looks so much better, and I feel better as well...shattered but better.:T
Also found out that DS3s school shoes have developed a little hole in the sole. I've suggested putting a tyre patch on it, OH just shook his head. :rotfl: I think it's a fab idea.:D
Also I called S@ntader today just to check balance outstanding. I last received a statement in December 2017. I called 3 different numbers and not one had a record of the account being out standing. Not even the credit card collection number. Hhhmmmm. By my records we only owe £160 which I'm going to try and pay off next month. But more concerning is how come there isn't any record of me. Somebody must know about me hence the statements I've been receiving.
Also received written confirmation from Bcard that Bcard loan was now paid off.:T
Paid all bills/debts this morning, and sorted car insurance £2 less a month.

Well done on the car insurance and end of loan confirmation. Even better if end of S@ntander is nigh.
