Well can't believe it's Sunday again....already. Last week was all a it of a blur to be honest so I'll go straight to this months spends.
Food/toiletries £447, petrol £225. Have just done meter readings and we are -£86 even after yesterday's payment but it's coming back down slowly. Haven't had the heating on for ages so it's should put it self right in a few months. We went out with friends last night spent £45.
Transferred DS1 £500 and paid bills. Next bill on the hit list stands at £171 S@ntander. I'm going to call for an update on the figure and hopefully we can pay it off next month.:)
On the plus side cars oil leak was sorted FOC...phew!
We've got quite a few social events coming up so I'm going to write down how much we will need, check and sort gifts and outfits. If only I could lose a stone or two I'd have an array of clothes to wear form my current wardrobe.:o
Meal plan done for the week, budget and spend diary upto date.
Xx

Well done on all the debt busting and resisting that takeaway..
Have a good end of the week..x0 -
I haven't got or had much to write about this week......suppose that could been seen as a good thing.:)
I can't remember how many NSDs we ended up on for April...anyway we are on 2 so far for May.
I did a small top up shop on Thursday, and got petrol. Paid some more off school trip, just owe £60 now. We've had our breakdown cover renewal come, £49:eek: going to call and see if I can more discount. Also had car insurance renewal, now we might have the cash to pay it all in one go......hmmm do I do that, or leave it at monthly payments.
Hope everyone has a lovely day. Enjoy the sunshine.

Nooooooo don't leave it on monthly payment, you pay interest on it.
Pay in cash (via cashback/ rewards cards as much bonus as you can) then, put away the monthly amounts so you have the money you need for next year. When I started doing this I put aside the monthly payment, including the added interest element. When the renewal came through the following year I had enough to pay cash again and a little bonus to put towards something else/ also a buffer if the price increased.Outstanding mortgage: £23,181 (December 19)

Thanks Wish, I know you're right, and there is a hefty interest charge. You know what it is, I'm still in a minefield when it comes to actual money. Because we've managed to save a little and there would be enough to pay for the insurance I'm full, I'm stressed about it, I think more than if I didn't have the money in the first place. It's such a bizarre feeling.

I thought I'd posted after wishing agreeing with her but obviously not! Maybe that weird feeling is one you'll be getting used to as you get more money saved in your various pots!

Yay another fabulous day, washing out, had a bit of a pamper session this morning......after having a wardrobe meltdown yesterday. I was all set for starting a healthy eating plan then I've eaten half a packet of biscuits with my tea this morning.
Yesterday spent £10 in cheapy shop and £40 on sburys. But also spent £23 on clothes, this was after using £25 of n3ctar points. Off out for an 80th birthday afternoon tea today so treated myself and DS3 on new outfits......both of us have grown :rotfl:
Managed to get £20 off AA membership. I've done the meter readings again today as we are having trouble with the heating/hot water (heating coming on when switched off, pilot light going out etc etc), we have used £18 in 7 days.
We've got £40 cash for this afternoon. don't intend on spending it all.:). Will use what's left to top up 365 jar.

Have a great birthday tea...from your posts it sounds as if managing to make a F&F and save a little is a real boost to your morale. Long may it continue :T
So far I am resisting the pain au chocolates in the house..but that should be the case as OH and I drank a load of alcohol yesterday and then had an impromptu dinner out as we unexpectedly had no kids...of course I had dessert..
I pegged out yesterday. Thought of you (obvs!!) - its so glorious when we have proper sun..

Yay it's Friday. Really struggled with RL this week. I'm on a high because I received a letter to say that one debt had now been paid, which has given me a boost but that then gets out weighed by other carp going on.
The car is back in the garage. waiting to hear what the situation is.:(
Still trying to make peace with everyone now that DL has gone home. Half of me just wants to walk away but I can't.
But on the money front we had a small top up shop yesterday, £22. Had to get petrol £25 on Wednesday (filled up then the car trouble starts!)
OH has had a letter offering him a F&F payment, saving £2400. As you know I'm really struggling with these F&F payments.
A few extra spends this week on stuff I'm making for the school fair £12.just realised I haven't get a note of our NSDs this month, doh! Still doing the 365 jar though....just hope we don't have to use it for the car.
Pegged 2 loads out yesterday, dried a treat.
Weekend is our last football weekend, DS3 has a very important match so looking forward to that. No other social plans so will get some jobs done around the house.
Healthy eating going OK.;)
