I don't know about anybody else but when we have money in the account I always feel strange, sort of nervous. I can't explain it really, quite bizarre.
If you're like me it's because you're wondering what you forgot to pay. :o One good thing about the debt free journey is rather than thinking "woo hoo free money" and going straight to the shops it goes into the savings account instead.

I'm glad it's not me then.:). Friday was NSD, number 4. Yesterday had to get OH's prescription, petrol (in 1 car) and spent £27 in supermarket (inc birthday present and drinks bottle).

Today my only spend was 59p on some herbal tablets. Ive got a really bad cough, after reading that cough medicine really doesn't do anything thought these would be a cheaper alternative. Working so far!!

Oooo I really must update my signature!!

Sad week, DS1 has gone back to the US. :(

We've all had sticking colds and coughs this week. Up to 6 NSDs. I did a shop of stuff for DS to take back with him. Yesterday did a top-up shop for us, got petrol, paid works lottery.

Need to pay for school trip and council tax. Also need £100 towards in-laws special wedding anniversary gift/celebrations.

    Thanks V

Hopefully he'll be home this summer again....if we can save the money for his flights. He'll have about 12 weeks off during the summer so it means he'd be able to work, which will help with the finances.

    He's got another 2 half years....gulp!

    Today was NSD 7.:)

Yesterday had to get petrol, small top up shop £2 and put £10 on DS 2s dinner money card.

Have paid towards in-laws celebrations......but I need to pay the council tax. Will pay that on Thursday when OH gets paid.

Major development with Bcard. They have defaulted the account. We need to pay the balance immediately....apparently. Then further on in the letter they mention a DCA.

Also I have a letter I need to collect from the post office directly as it needs to be signed for. Thinking this could be to do with Bcard?!?

Had nieces and nephews stay this weekend so have hidden the post. Will have a sort out of all the post tomorrow night.

I've been very brave tonight and called Bcard. I will carry on paying £25 per month, account is closed, no interest, account may be sent to DCA.

I won't have the extra money available to put towards the debt and we're going to use it to pay towards DS1s fees/flights etc.

Spent £6.40 on supermarket on way home.

Must pay for school trip tomorrow.

Sorted through all the post.......only took 10 minutes.

Well done Alice. That's great that BC has defaulted you and even better if it gets sold on.
Well done on sorting our the post and dealing with the horrible stuff. And I'm sure you'll get ds1's flights and fees paid. If he can work for 12 weeks could he manage the fees?
