I pegged out today....:T:j. Didn't dry 100% but at least it only needs airing overnight. I'm a very happy Alice.:D

On a negative point my car windscreen cracked this week and the exhaust fell of the other car on Wednesday night. We've got the exhaust sorted....had to raid the savings pot which is now down to 5p.:(

Haven't had windscreen done yet, we need to pay £75 excess.

Other news, managed 13NSDs last month. Only had 1 so far this month.:)

It's going to be a very lean week, the first 2 weeks of the month always are for us. Will start to build the savings pot/emergency fund back up when OH gets paid this week. OH and DSs all need haircuts.

Today we had another mammoth journey with sports club, took over an hour to get there. Good job we won.:D....I'm not really that competitive. But it does mean the car will need more petrol for the week.

Did a small top up shop on Thursday. Need to do meal plan, going to try and incorporate lunches see how it goes. Have had a house full of kids this afternoon and they raided the snacks.

Also need to do meter readings.

Egg muffins sound marvellous for lunches, especially as you can use up leftovers and freeze for future needs!
I feel exhausted reading about all you do Alice. I hope your dh and kids help around the house and washing the car??

Ooo I hadn't thought about freezing them V. Sounds like a plan, just got to get round to making them, they only take a few minutes so I need to get my act together.:rotfl:

Yeah everybody chips in with the chores.:). They're not always very willing but hayho.

Thank V and brizzle, you too.xx

We've had a mortgage statement, currently owe just over £48k, 8 years 9 months left to pay it off. Mind you at this rate the mortgage will be paid off before the debt.:o

Sunday was a chill out day. Yesterday I called and picked up some bits from @ldi. Today was NSD3. Currently batch cooking some various mince meals.

This month we've got the other car mot, and some extra kit for sports club to pay for. Also need to replace windscreen. Declined a party invite, just too far and at a very expensive place. Will send a lovely handmade card instead.

    Need to do meter readings.

Get to get a grip of things!!

    Wow can't believe it's been a week since I posted. :(

I was going to post last night, then this morning but I was so angry with OH I decided against it. To cut a long story short.........the week was going OK, Saturday sports club was cancelled but we went to the club to watch the rugby. On the way home DS3 stood in a deep puddle in the car park. Totally submerged his feet so his trainers we're soaking wet. Got home, OH carried DS into the house and fetched his trainers out of the car......and left them by the back door.

I know that at this point either of us could of put paper in the trainers to dry them out.:(

I didn't notice DSs trainers until the following morning when DS was getting ready to go to a birthday party. Now as you know the kids only have one pair of trainers (and one pair of shoes, unless they buy their own). The trainers were still soaking wet. When I mentioned it to OH he just shrugged his shoulders. I did say we should of put paper in them last night. I didnt blame him but he just ignored me and went off in a huff, and that was it for the rest of the day.

Now I don't know if he had a hangover, was tired or what but he was so mardi yesterday, he was doing my head in. To the point where I thought we'd gone back to things that had happened years ago.

Totally stupid I know but it did upset me. It's all trivial I know but it just shows how fragile I am/our relationship is.

Anyway in other news, still haven't done meter readings..doh! Did a few little shops last week. Spent £15 Saturday afternoon at the club. Upto 6 NSDs. Car MOT this week...everything crossed.

Things have calmed down in our household now. When I read the post back it does seem so blooming trivial. I've been trying really hard to be calmer and working as a team with OH.

The car passed its MoT with just a minor thing that cost £22, plus MoT cost.:T Tonight I've spent £14 in supermarket. Also got cash, need to pay works lottery, put to bday collection at work and put money in nieces bday card. Also need to get petrol. DS needs £90 this week.

I've done two loads of washing. I'm hoping I can peg out tomorrow, going to try it anyway. :)

Glad things are on a more even keel and that the MOT was relatively painless!
