Well done Alice. That's great that BC has defaulted you and even better if it gets sold on.
Well done on sorting our the post and dealing with the horrible stuff. And I'm sure you'll get ds1's flights and fees paid. If he can work for 12 weeks could he manage the fees?
Thanks V. I'll get there... just need a kick up the backside occasionally.
If he could work any money he makes would certainly help. Even if its just his living expenses. We currently send him £50 per week to live on, food, social, books etc. So yeah every bit helps.

Today is NSD 9.
We've had to take our dog to the vets. Looks like she's eaten something nasty....not sure where from. Costs £80. Thankfully on the mend. Have paid half of vets bill, will pay the rest on Thursday when OH gets paid.
Did a menu plan for the week and a little shop yesterday. Also got petrol. Also had to get new dog bed and new door mats (poor dog!!).
Yesterday had a mega trip for DSs footie. Didn't spend any money whilst there though.:)
Today have done house work, ironing, currently got 2 loads drying on the airers....its been ages since I pegged out.:(
Must do meter readings today as well.

Oooo brizzle good to hear its working for you.:)
Thankfully the dog is all OK now...phew!
I've been to the post office and picked up the letter that needed signing for........all that worry and it was a recall letter for the car..doh!!
Yesterday was NSD10. Should of gone to exercise class but I didn't.:o
Now this is where I start to panic and think we need more food. We have certainly have food in but because the cupboards and fridge aren't bulging at the seams I get anxious. Silly really. We've got a meal plan so main meals aren't a problem just packed lunches.
Did meter readings on Sunday, we are £35 debit. Hopefully we can claw it back as we go into spring, hahaha.

Hello Alice am a lurker on your diary right from the word go. You are doing so well. If you don't mind a bit of baking here and there, there is a good blog called utterly scrummy food for families. Her kids have great lunch boxes. She does really cheap menu plans too. Might be worth a look for some inspiration. A few things baked in the freezer may be an idea for when the cupboards are looking a little bare. I find the top up shops a killer as I never just get what I need!
Glad the dog is okay. Ours got poisoned once and the kitchen looked like a cow had been in there for the night!Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0 -

Hi V, that's a good idea.
Too right, I think we will all feel so much better then.

Hi arsenalbarnie, thank you for your post. Will certainly have a look at that blog. I've seen a link to egg muffin type things, basically beaten egg in muffin cases, add ham, mushroom, spinach type of stuff, in the oven till the eggs are done. I'm going to give them a go and see what else I can find.
Oooo your poor dog, get the picture tho!!

Real busy week, up to 13 NSDs.
Tonight I'm off to fitness thing I've been doing.:) The trouble is it makes today a spend day.Could pay for a block booking I suppose.
Saturday morning we had football, kids and the car were filthy.
Then I went to get my hair cut......love that hour of peace. Came back washed the cars. Had sausage and mash for tea.
Yesterday we didn't have any sports club, got housework done, had a lovely Sunday dinner, then chilled.
Haven't pegged out at all this year......:rotfl: but do hate having washing hanging in the house, heated airer not.:(
On the money front, yesterday I paid the debt bills. I must work out how many months it will take to pay off.

Egg muffins sound marvellous for lunches, especially as you can use up leftovers and freeze for future needs!
I feel exhausted reading about all you do Alice. I hope your dh and kids help around the house and washing the car??
