Thanks Verbatim, I'm not sure of this ruling, will have to look into it. To think we'll be in the 16k's in January......wow.:D
1st November was the date I'd challenge myself to leave the heating off until, looks like we'll make it.:) Depends on the weather or if we get any visitors as to when we put the heating on :rotfl:
Also need to be practical, don't want the kids to suffer or the house to get damp.
Went shopping armed with a list, had a voucher for extra points if we spent over £70. Spent £83 on food/cleaning/toiletries this includes OHs blades (extra points voucher), more wash liquid, toilet rolls, tights, hair stuff, choc stuff for hampers (on offer), wine and food stuff for house party we are going to on Saturday and extra freezer stuff.
OH also had a new coat for his bday, got 25% off. The coat and the foodstuff came to £117 but I got £15 in points. In theory the coat only cost £18 (instead of £45). Not a planned spend but at least OH is sorted now.
Going to take DS2 to tomorrow to see if any of the coats are suitable for him. He doesn't have a winter coat that fits.:o
Also just need to get vouchers to put into hampers and then that's 3 Christmas presents sorted.:)
Although we've had extra spends tonight I can see what we've sent the money on and I do still feel in control.

Yesterday was actually a NSD (not counted them this month, took my eye off the ball a bit with them).
DS decided against getting a coat. He said the one he's got is ok....I don't think so but that's ok for now.
This morning we've been to sports club, no spends there.:T
Got some bits in already for trick or treat. Haven't purchased a real pumpkin this year, we've got plenty of stuff to decorate the porch anyway. Trick or treat til 7.00 then that's it, take everything down and put the 'no trick or treat' sign up. Most of our street do the same.
Need to do meter readings! Heating still off.:)

Got a bit carried away....didn't need to do meter reading until next week!
Today was another NSD (going to keep a tally this month). Just pottered about today, got the leaves up, sorted garage out a bit, quite chilled out really.
Managed to peg 2 loads out, dried about 50%, now on the airers/airing cupboard. Heating still off.
Got DSs bus money and dinner money sorted, DS got extra sports sessions for the next 6 weeks, cost an extra £5 per week. Hoping petrol will last until Tuesday eve.

Nothing else to report.....just plodding along.

Yesterday was NSD 4. I wasn't well yesterday so didn't go into work . Not like me but I just couldn't physically do it. Think I had 24hr bug as I feel a lot better tonight.
Finally got petrol this morning £30. Called into supermarket on way home £39. Paid works lottery too.
Spoke to Bcard again, they say they still haven't received anything from stepchange. They suggested SC fax the details to the number they gave me. Will speak to SC tomorrow.
OH having a mini strop tonight. Every time I say anything he sighs and rolls his eyes up to the ceiling........think he's tired. :rotfl:
I really don't like the first 2 weeks on the month, so many DDs coming out of the account. I find it difficult to keep a track of things.....you'd think I'd be used to it by now.:o

Aww thank you Verbatim, mmmm sometimes I think I will meet myself coming backwards.....as they say.:) it's tough but just got to keep plodding.
Last night we went to the in-laws for fireworks. Called into coop on the way as they'd asked us to get a few bits they'd forgotten (food), spent £5.75.
Tonight they have a display at the sports club weather permitting. Max spend £10. Helping with the food so currently got a pot of chilli on the go, got me out of sports club this morning anyway.;)
Haven't done any washing yet, not looking forward to having the airers out to be honest. Heating still not on.:D
Still on 4 NSDs. Need to get cash for bus money, dinner money, DSs pocket money and £10 for tonight.
Off to call Bcard....again. Gggrrrr.

No joy with Bcard. They are saying they still haven't had anything from stepchange, yet stepchange say they have sent the reproposal....twice.
I've got until 11 November to sort it out, or they will slap another lot of interest and late payments charges onto the account.
Will call stepchange on Monday and see what they can do. It's so frustrating.:o

Is there an ID number or tag for their communication to help Bcard find what SC have sent? So infuriating for you.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420

My understanding of how Stepchange works is that they do everything through a log in system so instead of sending letters which any of the staff can see they send 'letters' through this system so whoever at Barclaycard is in charge of dealing with Stepchange clients would have to log in to retrieve messages etc.
I am not clear whether current DMP clients who have changes get dealt with in a different way to brand new DMP clients but I can imagine they must get quite a few 'letters' every day.
I would be asking Stepchange for a copy of the correspondence and then sending it to Barclaycard myself.
I know you want it sorted by the next statement date but they can still go back and remove charges etc.
Have you written a letter to Barclaycard as well or just rung them? I would be writing a letter and sending a copy of the Stepchange letter.
Fingers crossed you get this sorted.0
