:rotfl:DFW I'm not quite as obsessed with ironing as I am with pegging out.:D

Hmmm to your NSD, at least nearly means you are trying your best.:D

Today the kids went to the pictures, they got snacks from the cheaply shop beforehand. I had to get petrol, bread and picked up my favourite jam which was on offer (as a treat:o).

Tomorrow I'm not at work so will take DS2 to the park, a few jobs around the house, cottage pie for tea as not enough mince for burgers. Will stay away from any supermarket!!

    Countdown until DS1 goes........I've got to get a grip.:o

  • Apart from peg a load of washing out and update spend diary/budget I have done anything else......oops!

Have looked at our DMP and because we only paid half last month and tweaking balances here and there is had pushed our DFD to November 2018.:(

We have 50 payments left @ £475 per month, that is some amount:eek:

    Do I start a countdown.......or not??

Right off to do something productive. Hope everybody has a great day.:-)

  • We've had the car tax renewals from both cars through the post today, both due at the end of the month.........not very good planning!! And I've been so lapse in keeping the car 'pot' up there isn't enough money to cover both.

The 'other car' has got its MOT and work on the steering thingy to do at the end of the month:(

Last night we had an impromptu visit to the beer garden, spent £12.:o

Also I have called up about the GAP insurance we took out on our previous car, wondered if I could claim it back. There are something's that went on when we took the finance out that were a bit underhand. Unfortunately I don't have any paperwork for it but I'm sure we took it out. Anyway called P'geot up and they can't tell me over the phone but advised me to write in. Got to be worth a price of stamp!

Today I'm going to get some of the less costly bits of the kids uniform ie ties and pumps.

Managed to stay out of the supermarket yesterday which is an achievement.:D

  • The last 3 days have just flown by. Saturday I went to sburys and got petrol. Yesterday we took DS1 to the airport:(, we all had breakfast at the airport £21:eek:

Today was NSD2......at last another one.:). But need to pay for childcare.:(

The car is making a knocking/thud noise when I go down a pot hole or over a speed bump. Not that I know a lot but it sounds like a spring type problem (we had the other side done not that long ago). I'm off in a few weeks, will book it into the garage then......the same week the other cars MOT is due.

    Onwards and upwards.

  • Today was NSD3.:)

Tomorrow I might have to call into supermarket, we are running short on essentials, one being toilet roll which is very essential :rotfl:

Have had a really busy week at work, good job really as I'm really missing DS1.:( .......he on the other hand is having a fab time.:)

Had a letter from Bcard stating I'd broken the agreement by only paying half last month. :(

Just got to keep plodding......roll on the weekend.

  • I did call into supermarket on way home. Spent £64, but that did include £5 on school uniform bits. Also called into cheapy shop and got cleaning/toiletries etc spent £12 and got £20 cash out.

Tonight we've done a bit of gardening, OH cut the grass. DS2 did some chores around the house today, that really helps.:)

Got activities planned for Saturday and Sunday, will take a packed lunch to both. But will need to pay car parking/entry fee.
