Hi there
Well done on tackling your debts. I have a couple of suggestions. Whilst you are still on full time hours, would your credit record be good enough to get a 0% card to transfer the barclaycard balance on to? That way your payments will be paying off the capital and not interest.
Secondly your circumstances have now changed. Have you thought about contacting CCCS or Payplan about going on a debt management plan? It would make the non secured debt more manageable...
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

I'm really not too confident about the process of transferring the balance - my credit record is good so that shouldn't be a problem, I'll scan MSE to see if they have any tips on how to do it, thanks, that should save me some cash xxx:Avintage43:A

Trying my hand at selling some of the things I sell at craft fayres on Ebay and there does seem to be interest as everything I put on has bids on it, I also put some really silly things on which I didn't would sell as they are broken and hey presto they have lots of watchers so heres hoping someone bids on them.

AAAAAH! Tried to transfer the balance on my CC to another with 0% interest for 20 months only to be shot down in flames - my credit rating is good according to credit expert so i just don't get it, looks like I'm going to adding on the hefty interest for a while yet. Oh well back to the drawing board xvintage43:A

Its most prob not personal, sometimes they have their own criteria, what I have done before, is go through the cards that I had and see if there a good gap between balance and the available credit, and then gave them a ring and say what offers can you do me, because they have offers but don't always advertise them.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Trying to type in bed with the dog under my arm isn't easy, she's a bit needy this morning!
paid a staggering £3.70 off barclay card today! whoop!:j
I need to get some bits of shopping and for the first time in ages I have made a proper list of just essentials, i think my dad and his gf plus 3 kids are planning on visiting tomorrow so I will need to make some cheap cakes etc to feed them all.
We talked as a family about mothers day and that we don't want to waste money on pressies and that from now on all the kids would think of things they can do each year that don't cost anything but would give me pleasure so this year son#1 is cooking Sunday lunch, son#2 is putting some cds onto my ipod and son#3 is going to make delicious pancakes with icecream for after lunch. sounds like a plan:)
Tonight is a frugal night out to celebrate St Paddys day - watching some local bands play £5.00 per ticket going to Joels wish, the whole family, plus BF and nextdoor neighbours are going so it should be fun, plus I'm going to treat myself to one tonic water then plain old tap water for the rest of the night!:beer:
5 of my ebay sales end tomorrow - I will keep 1/2 in the bank for postage and fees and the other half will go between CC and Trip fund for November.
have a lovely St Paddys day everyonevintage43:A

knock knock - only me at the door, just come round for my pancakes and icecream.
without sounding daft you've hit it on the head re mothers day, DD made me a keyring, got some toiletties (got on 75% Boots sale), and having barof Aero choc. i'll love them all but the choc mean the world as she got it herself (shes 9 - pd for it out of her pocket money).
For my mum shes got a Dove set (£3 - 75% boots) and an iou for a day out. Won't buy flowers - the prices just shoot up, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Ah! Mum2one, your little one is so sweet and yummy Aero!
A good day, all the family and their girlfriends around for lunch cooked by son#1 and all cleared away by son#3, he did a good job, it was lush.
5 ebay items finished today, i'll wait until the pennies have cleared into my bank account and then divide between fees, Trip fund and CC but its looking to be about £20.00 each, which is great.
I'm glad I didnt do the craft sale today, it's been lovely x Happy mothers day xvintage43:A
