Can anyone help with some ideas pleas?
DD2 will be 18 in about a month. OH is refusing to let her have a party at home ( he's seen the pics of her mate's one last month) and i agree with him.
DD2 doesn't want to go out with her mates for a meal because she will be doing that for the next 3 weekends anyway for the people who are 18 before her!
She hates ice skating and doesn't want to go bowling or to the cinema.
They can't go clubbing because most of them aren't 18 yet.....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Mudders not medical advice but Luke is allergic to all kinds, he takes piriton (kids medicine) more so over the summer, he has eczema too & anything but non bio (table spoon max) or soda crystals would set him off, I usually dilute soda crystals or use liquid as it doesn't rinse properly with his large bed in
Well I've managed to do bits, this is effecting my back & kidneys big time. A washer load folded, another in and drier load in plus shuffling some clutter is about what I can manage without passing out. Head hurts too much to study. I know I should not do it but am swaddled in blankets and still shivering. Think I'll wake the puppies, encourage them to play for an hour then get them & me to bed *yawn*
Cyclingyorkie I think the spa ideas a good one. I spent mine in hospital with my sister because she wouldn't have surgery without me there (at 6am) then they had a George Michael impersonator from stars in their eyes at the local pubOne day I might be more organised...........

Been out to two gigs today. One was a fundraiser and one a normal one. And one last night, too. It's still not feeling right, being the only person there on my own. Although I wouldn't have been there at all had it been the case that there was still a male in the equation. Does this ever get any easier?

I have been studiously ignoring all calls this week. Apparently, the person I dispensed with (or rather, who flounced off in a huff) two weeks ago, is really worried that there is a problem and I must phone him immediately to let him know I'm OK.
!!!!!!? You come here knowing it was to go out on the Friday and Saturday, throw a strop within 45 minutes of getting here because I want to go out, then come along and throw another strop because I don't want to go home 85 minutes later, stomp off home, then come back on the Monday to pick me up from the club (Uninvited, but hey), put me in fear of my life by tailgating someone driving at 30mph because you've got the world's heaviest boot on your right foot and can't read the Highway Code that says the limit is 30, not 40 because it's nighttime, driving at 60 in a 20 zone the wrong way through a contraflow system in the pouring rain and then follow me into the kebab shop to start an argument and shout so much abuse, to the extent that you end up sleeping in your car - and you THINK I must be hurt or injured or murdered or something because I'm not answering your calls?

One of the cats is so sound asleep that, everytime I move just a tiny bit, she's waking up and squeaking at me. I move - 'squeak!' What? 'squeak!' What is it? 'squeeeeak!' I'm sorry 'SQQQQUUUUEEEEAAAAAKKKKK SQQQUUUUEEEAAAAKKKK!' Oh, shush up and go back to sleep. 'Mmmmmmpppppf purrrrrr zzzzzzzzzz'
Must go to bed - I need to wake up early enough to go to Mr T's, as I've got £11 of unspent vouchers and a desire for a new quilt cover.
Just can't sleep during the night, though.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
