Thought I'd pop in for a quick catch up - do you think I'm getting addicted to this ;)

Chicken and roasties cooking, veg prepped and crumble in. Been ironing, cleaning and tidying so sitting down with a twingy back and a medicinal g &t :D

DD1 came by to rummage in the rubbish/spae room for some canvasses to paint a comission from my DSis and while rummageing I found two Christmas pressies I bought last year and forgot about. Result! That gives me another two for this year - unless I loose them again.

Happty Anniversary Wuvvies, and sorry Beth I don't think I wished you Happu Birthday - sounds like you had a lovely day though.

Better keep an eye on the tea.

    tootle pip.

Time for an evening check in. (((hugs))) to Bramble :) Thinking of you.

Well, the MotoGP brought a tear to my eye seeing the tribute and all, and it's been a fairly productive day besides. I've got all the ironing done, a load of washing, and a big lasagne made. With the leftover Bolognese sauce I've topped it on some hm gnocchi and the rest of the white sauce to make a ready-meal gnocchi Bolognese for tomorrow lunch. I hope I make the work's kitchen smell nice!

Teatime soon. :) A few nagging worries keep pulling at my mind and it can be difficult to bat them away sometimes.

brighteyes - sorry you've had such a h£llish week. It is a long wait for the funeral isn't it? Thinking of your family and especially your nan.
Lots of sadness and worries in amongst us in the Daily just now. Candle is burning with thoughts for you all.
Ironing done. Just about 15 mins worth. I only do what i really need to.
DH off out to Wolfetones gig. I decided not to go after having that sickness bug during the week as I'm still a wee bit zapped energy-wise. Still, I'll be thinking of him, the Guinness drinking and the singing along:).
Early night tonight. Am loving these cold nights as am v hot these nights with an inner glow that only ladies of a certain age know about ;). No sweats (famous last words) just roasty toasty. Goodness I would save loads on the electricity bill if it was just me here!
