RR - our 2 dogs weren't happy at all - they had the radio on loud but still refused to go outside to spend a penny till the middle of the night!
TiredMum - well done to your DS:T
Mioliere - glad you're feeling better x
Thankyou again for all the lovely messages yesterday, it's so nice to have such a lot of good friends.
Had an early night and a good sleep and am not feeling too bad today. We've booked a weekend away at the end of the month so have got a nice break to look forward to.
Taking DS to work then a quiet day at home today. Will walk the dogs later before anymore fireworks.
I had a nice lie in and read my book this morning:)
Have a lovely day all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning all
My washer died yesterday so I'll have to look to getting that fixed this week as I don't fancy adding hand washing to the 'to do' list!
DH & I have free tickets to the open air Snow Patrol concert being held at Belfast City Hall this evening which should be good providing a) we can get a good position and b) I can hold my bladderdont really fancy battling through 8,000 people to go for a pee!
Cold is taking a good grip but i'll ignore it until tomorrow! Going to make a Corned Beef Hotpot for the Twins and DD's dinner (she's sleeping at theirs tonight) and DH & I will eat out, Step-kids are staying at DH's mums and will eat there.
Going to get D-SD up and she can bath DD and hersel while I get one with cooking and tidying. Have a couple of MS jobs to do at 1pm then will get ready and head out about half three.
Hope you all have good days xClimbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Morning everyone.
House of stress here today. Having problems with DS being funny with my parents, especially my dad. He keeps saying he doesn't like my dad, said it about my mum last night and it's making meno idea what's causing this as it's not as if he sees my dad that much. And of course he can't articulate what the problem is. He's currently stamping about in temper as he wants to go to his cousins house to play but they're not there, they are at my mums.
We have made the decision to cut down on childminding hours. He's not happy with a couple of the mindees andmquite frankly mornings can be stressful enough with him never mind adding a crying mindee on top. Shall be telling the parents tomorrow so wish me luck. Will be living on fresh air but hey ho, my kids and my family have to come first.
Not sure what OS going on. Need to start onion chutney so might do that later.
Had fireworks last night. DD had to go and watch them from inside and DS and nephew went inside after about half of them. Shan't bother next year although they enjoyed the sparklers.
I suppose tea will be chicken with veg and roasts.
Sorry not much OS.
Bramble hope you are ok xxx
Lou hugs for you xxx

Morning all,
Lots and lots to do today. DH took me out for drinks last night down our local, the place was packed with friends and family, I knew he was up to something for my B/day. Was so busy chatting to so many I didn't see DH leave the pub. After a while I noticed that everyone had finished their drinks. A DF said "right we're all off now best you come with us". I asked where and he said " back to your place":eek: Thank God the place was blitzed, all clean & tidy.
DH had caterers in and they did a buffet for 35 people, he'd put up banners, balloons, streamers and had a cake made.
I walked in to find a supprise party all layed out.
Fast forward to 4.15am when we finally got to bed. So OS wise DH and I have a pile of clearing up to do, he's loading DW as I type, the place is littered with glasses, food, dishes and bodies still sleeping. I'll be making b/fast for 10, DH stashed bacon, eggs mushrooms sos and toms in the garage fridge so everyone can have a full b/fast.
Still can't belive he could do all that without me sussing he was up to something, I thought the supprise was F&F at the pub.
Feeling a bit delicate but must get on and give him a hand.
Haven't caught up on here so I'll send hugs and congrats where needed.0 -
Morning all,
Tappers have a hug, well done for recognising the signs before itoverwhelms you, but if you continue to struggle, get help, you dont want to end up like I was last year; a quivering wreck who was afraid to leave thehouse. I am sure these new shifts cant be helping you, either. Xxx
Bramble I have been thinking of you, honey. X
Well, life struggles onhere, I an finding it hard to juggle everything and still trying to establish a routine with OH away. There has been far too much pizza eatenhere as I dont have much of an apetite, but todayis the day I make a change. We are off to church shortly for the rememberance day service, I am not a believer but feel its an important day to mark. When we comeback I shall sort out a mealplan and go for a few bits of shopping. The rest of the day will be spent painting DS2's room.
Hugs to everyone else.

Hey everyone
Hope I can join you here.
Jackieglasgow lol a little early yeah
Well the sun is shining here and I'm thrilled from a washing point of view.
I have decided that my children are going to work hard on tidying their bedrooms and playroom today as I have had enough of doing the same old day in day out. We'll bake if they make a good effort at it
I have a fair few oranges to use up so fancying making some orange curd but that's on the bottom of the list.
I'm wanting to spend some time learning the basic knitting stitch (can crochet really well but can't knit for toffee) and must crack on with an essay due for Tuesday.
Hop all have a nice day today0 -
