He's still sore but think he's going to try and work a bit tomorrow whether he can manage it or not is a different matter

Oh my word, Taxi, it just keeps on, doesn't it - hope OH is okay today. I noticed what you wrote about the weight going back on too, about why you let it pile back on, and I'm so sorry to read that. Hope you can stay positive on stuff like that - which includes having a cry and then picking yourself up - and that you can find a meeting time that suits you.

    Love and gentle hugs.

DH managed to do a few hours today and am proud of him as it's scary getting back in after a crash and also trying to get used to another vehicle and whilst in pain...but he insisted so who was I to stop him.

Rang the social up about my sick pay and they've received my paperwork and it is now on the right department..hoping I don't have to do battle with them...guess time will tell

Went to WWs and have put quite a bit on over the last few months but have drawn a line under that now...so hoping to lose weight now

Nothing much else happening around here thankfully

Sorry to hear about the accident and I totally agree with you re bad drivers. There seems to be so many on the roads, as a pedestrian and non-driver I despair when I see so many. I nearly got run down on a zebra crossing once, now I wait till the car comes to a full stop before crossing, even though it annoys drivers.
Whiplash is nasty so hope that he can try to take it a little easy, being self-employed it is never easy.
Re the weight coming back on.. I lost 2 and half stone and went down to 8.7 stone it really was too thin and I am now back at 9.7 stone. I think there is a natural body weight and this seems to be mine even though I do the gym, run around at work all day. I find it very hard to lose more. I do allow myself more treats:o But I hated the fact my diet was so austere when I was 8.7 stone.
xx Hope you are okay ?

Thats brilliant that DH got behind the wheel, I know after my 1st right off (only had 2 thou!), I always remember the AA man managed to get me a free upgrade to a medium car - and it was peugeout 405 (brand new L reg!!), I was on my god its got a boot i'd always had hatchbacks.

    Hope he's ok,

Fingers crossed your get somewhere with the ESA this time, xx

    Thanks everyone x

DH says he isn't as scared now and seems a little chirpier..so that is good.

I took myself on a little trip to Booths in Lytham(sort of like a Waitrose equivalent I guess)..I enjoyed pottering around there as it's nice and bright and very clean and the products are of a high quality. It's not cheap but quality rarely is.It has a juice machine that you put oranges in and squeeze your own juice into whatever size bottle you choose. It has an art gallery upstairs and Artisan cafe with a great menu so will take DH there as think he will enjoy it.
I did manage to get a few good reduced bargains...got packs of 6 organic free range eggs for 79p,organic cherry tomatoes 69p per pack, organic milk 74p....bought some delicious roast ham off the deli counter which tastes just like ham used to do absolutely delicious.
My back was aching by the time I'd walked around it but I'd managed it.It was a very pleasant experience as the staff offer good old fashioned service and actually smile and pack your bags without being asked. There were no dirty smelly custmers in there nor any screaming misbehaved children...I hate shopping as a rule but have always found Booths stores to be very good.It was my 1st visit to the Lytham one today as ours in Blackpool doesn't stock as much organic fruit/veg/bread that I'd like and the Lytham one does hence my visit there.

I have a basket full of washing to get through here so will probably do that today(friday).
Don't have to worry about dinner today as DH made a nice big pan of lentil soup so will be having that..yum
Got to bring the accounts up to date as haven't done them for a few weeks and also have quite a bit of paperwork to file/shred etc so will pace myself over the next couple of days.
Not had any contact from anyone regarding the accident so guess everything ticking along in the background..am glad that I'm not having to deal with it all.
A nice few peaceful days will suit me fine
