    Just another thought will your insurance pay for a hire car so OH can carry on working?

    oh Taxi, i'm so sorry about the car being written off, hope your OH is ok and you can get something short term sorted while the insurance claims go in.

    Thanks everyone...I know about the loss of earnings,hire cars etc as we've been through this a few times.It just p e e s me off that there are so many bad drivers on the roads and the sheer inconvenience and stress that it causes us.

    We have 3 sets of solid witnesses plus police log no and the other driver is definitely at fault..he took a right turn straight in front of my huband causing my husband to hit him.
    I put it in the hands of a local claims management firm this morning and now have a courtesy kitted out car ready to work sat outside my house ready for DH when he feels a bit better as he has whiplash at the moment.The cab has been picked up from outside the house.

    Sorry to hear about the taxi Taxi, I'm sure that's a hassle you could well do without out. Hope dh whiplash isn't too bad.
