Brill suggestion about seeing if all the other drivers would do the chip in, - certainly help them and be a head start for the accountant, less expenses for them. xx

As you all know I'm doing this computer course as a start to getting an office job.I had in mind to apply to a certain large company here as they have a good reputation once I'd completed my course.I was going to get in touch with their HR dept explaining it was a career change and offering myself for a free trial.
I was discussing this with my son who happened to be a good friend of somebody in a decent role within the company.He phoned his friend and then put me on the phone(I met this friend a number of years ago) and he has taken my mobile and house numbers and is going to speak to HR tomorrow and refer me and give them my numbers.He said if their are vacancies I will be called in for tests and if I pass them then will get a job.
I do not have to have formal qualifications as they have their own in house training on their in house software systems.I wanted to work for these people as they are very custmer focused and also have great promotional opportunities and also encourage and fund you in further development.
Hopefully,they'll have a vacancy and I can take it from there and if not I may get one another time.
Am quite excited and scared at the same time.I haven't had an interview for years and years as have been SE for lots of years in 3 different businesses but am sure I can offer them a good return for their money and have transferable skills from my previous lines of work.My sons friend seemed very confident in me.
