To the freinds and family of Taxi,

I am very sorry to read that she is now lost to you, and to us all.

In my early days on this forum, I benefited from her advice and encouragement and in latter times have read her diary as she has dealt with this dreadful disease with courage and dignity.

I am greatful to MSE for having given us this community and a place to 'meet' good people such as Taxi. It feels like a light has gone out for me, and must feel so much greater for those who knew her well.

October 25th I will wear Pink and think of her and others who have brightened my life but have been taken by breast cancer.

I too have been shocked and saddened by the news. Thinking of her family and will make a donation to a charity, cancer research or McMillan in her memory.

I do hope her family know how important she was to many of us, whether lurkers or contributors here in virtual life. A very brave lady x

Never had the pleasure of meeting you, but you touched the lives of so many and heard the sad news last night.

Probably impossible to say something that hasn't already been said already about the loss of such a lovely person.

Condolences to the family from BB and Pepe. xxxxxx

For Taxi. You were unlucky, we were lucky to know you.

    Death is nothing at all

I have only slipped away into the next room

I am I and you are you

Whatever we were to each other

    That we are still

Call me by my old familiar name

Speak to me in the easy way you always used

Put no difference into your tone

Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow

    Laugh as we always laughed

At the little jokes we always enjoyed together

Play, smile, think of me, pray for me

Let my name be ever the household word that it always was

Let it be spoken without effort

Without the ghost of a shadow in it

Life means all that it ever meant

It is the same as it ever was

    There is absolute unbroken continuity

What is death but a negligible accident?

Why should I be out of mind

Because I am out of sight?

I am waiting for you for an interval

    Somewhere very near

    Just around the corner

    All is well.

Nothing is past; nothing is lost

One brief moment and all will be as it was before

How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!

I'm still in shock about this just like everyone else is and it seems so unreal but I've had a message from Anne's daughter Kayleigh regarding the funeral arrangements and she's asked me to pass on the message to everyone on here.

"The funeral will be held at Lytham crematorium next week sometime will know the date and time later on today"

I'm going to try to get there but it depends on the day, time etc due to work or Anne's family may want a private funeral. I'll post if I receive any more information.
    God Bless them.

    Here are the funeral arrangements

Anne's funeral will be held at Lytham Crematorium on Tuesday 29th October at 2.30pm then onto the Catholic Club for the wake.

I've asked Kayleigh if they would welcome people on her thread going to the funeral and as Anne was loved and admired by many people on here and touched a lot of people's lives it would be lovely if you could make it and you are invited to come and pay your respects on the above date.
Luckily I'm off for half term that week so I'll be going and hopefully will see some of you there if you can make it.
Excuse the large font I just don't want anyone to miss the message.
