Dizzy, thank you for that, and thanks to Kayleigh too, for allowing mse people to pay their respects at the time.

Just wanted to add my words to the chorus. Taxi was a lovely person and will be sorely missed both in real life and online.

Like so many others, I met Taxi at the Wolery, and was immediately struck by her down-to-earthness but also her deep-seated kindness. One of life's good people.

This is a tragic event, and the only saving grace of this cruel illness was that Taxi wasn't suffering for months on end. That would have been too much.

Many thanks for letting me know of this - I would have hated to have come back months down the line. You know who you are; you're a star. :kisses3:

    Here are the funeral arrangements

Anne's funeral will be held at Lytham Crematorium on Tuesday 29th October at 2.30pm then onto the Catholic Club for the wake.

I've asked Kayleigh if they would welcome people on her thread going to the funeral and as Anne was loved and admired by many people on here and touched a lot of people's lives it would be lovely if you could make it and you are invited to come and pay your respects on the above date.
Luckily I'm off for half term that week so I'll be going and hopefully will see some of you there if you can make it.
Excuse the large font I just don't want anyone to miss the message.

My condolences to Taxi's family I have lurked on her thread for ages & she was a lovely inspiring & caring lady. Reading her thread got me through a bad time last year when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer & I will miss her humour & spirit that always came across in her posts.
RIP Taxi never a duckling always a swan. :A

    about Taxi's passing.
I was so awed by how she just got on with things. I never has the pleasure of meeting her in the flesh, but she painted such a vivid picture of her life, that you felt you were walking with her.

Shocked and sad to find out about Taxi's passing. I never met her, but as a regular reader of her diary, felt like I knew her well. Such an inspirational and down to earth lady, who coped with her illness with such courage and dignity.

Thinking of her family and knowing that she will be very much missed by all who loved and knew her . RIP Taxi.

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.
