    Hi Taxi

Firstly happy anniversary glad to hear you had a nice celebration with DH.

Re the hip: I just popped on to suggest trying tramadol and then I read your recent post and see that you;ve got it :T- I hope that with this, and possibly some changes to your footwear, you will get some relief.

I first came across tramadol when some of my piggies with longer term chronic pain issues arising from joints or urinary/kidneys issues couldn;t get adequate relief on standard NSAID pain meds.....so I suggested it to the vet and they agreed.

I think Tramadol is great! - it really cuts the mustard compared to other pain killers...for both pigs and people....and I am now currently using it myself for my broken foot as I can;t in any case use NSAID's .

Thank goodness the piggies have plentiful supplies in their pharmacy cupboard :D

Hope you start to feel a bit more mobile over the coming days - ready for the apparent heatwave/good weather we're apparently going to have at the weekend.

    Sending you lots of hugs
    xxxx

    Thanks everyone xx
Carboot..hope yor DH enjoyed himself. My DH couldn't cook when we first got together 20 years ago but I taught him to.We usually have meat and 2 veg type meals, stews, baked fish etc..just basic meals really.I taught him so that when he had the kids to look after whilst I was at work that he could feed them properly. He used to work nights and me days when they were little. It has certainly come in handy all these times I've been ill. He's a good one for sure but he doesn't know how to use the washer or dryer..lol
The pain is easing a little but only went out of the house today and was in pain again.Went back to WWs and have put a stone back on but will put that behind me and get on with it.My leader is very good and I'd arranged with her that I could jump the q so that I didn't have to stand about.I'm hoping that I start to feel a lot better soon as have my trip to london 22 july.

    Brilliant news Taxi.

And well done for having the chutzpah to go back to WW. The idea of standing on a scale is just too terrifying for me

Congrats on the mammo news and good luck on the weight loss. I'm waiting for the results of my first mommo , nerve racking, only cos I do have boob pain but after seeing three docs and a visit to the specialist at the hospital they all said the same thing , its just boob pain .At the time they weren't interested in giving me a mammo then. Now i'm about to join the elite group (over 50's) I've been called for my first one.x
