He's on punishment anyway as I didn't tell you he did a runner on me at Legoland and was gone half an hour!!!!!..I was not amused and couldn't move anywhere in case he came back...he came back innocently telling me that he'd gone to have a look around to see what rides he was going to go on as though that was ok..little git[/QUOTE]

Little buggalugs!!!! Thank crikey he was safe.
Hope Bens ok and his knee swelling goes down. Aw Bless. If only they could tell us how they're feeling.
Have a good rest, sounds like you need it after all the excitement :)

Ben seems to be a lot better with his leg..he came back from his walk with a take away carton in his mouth that contained a kebab looking very pleased with himself but wasn't very pleased that I took it off him and gave him a tripe stick instead..DH said that Ben carried it all the way back from the park...I'm such a bad mummy taking it off him

Ah I remember the heart-stopping moment of not knowing where a child is :eek:It's no wonder you were so tired with all that additional adrenalin used up. Well done for carrying the punishment through, hopefully he will learn from the experience and not frighten you so much!

Love Ben for bringing home a kebab:rotfl:Perhaps he planned on sharing it with you? And you took it away! I'm not sure I would have preferred a tripe stick :rotfl::rotfl:Glad his leg is getting better too.

Blimey, Taxi, no wonder you haven't been posting, when the trip to Legoland affected you that badly :( It must be so difficult - you want to get out and about now its all done and dusted, but stamina isn't regained as soon as we *want* it to be regained, is it ... With the little shoulder and back ops I had last year, I remember so well being *bored* by not doing stuff - but I was specifically told, even after the stitches come out of your back, don't reach forward with both hands, you'll pull the skin apart  I may have pampered myself a bit *too* long :o but at least it doesn't bug me now :rotfl:

    Hope you're having a nice weekend :T

Can definitely agree with the boredom thing as am stuck in due to his punishment plus tiredness/pain
  • Thinking of you all, taxi (grownups, grandchildren and pets:kisses3:)

Just take it easy for a bit (but 'knowing' you, you won't feel happy doing so especially when JJ is staying over).

Did you take JJ for the Legoland weekend all by yourself? Can't remember if you told us that:o but if you did it was a huge undertaking so don't feel bad about feeling drained now you are back. Having sole care of a youngster (especially one with so much energy as JJ) in an exciting environment like Legoland is enough to wear out even the fittest of us, and with all you've been through you are a star to have achieved what you did by taking him.

yes took him by myself...hence why I couldn't move off the bench when he did his disappearing act..I never envisaged the amount of hills in legoland and how big it was..it was too much too soon for me

Glad to hear it. That's so sweet him carrying it back, his very own takeaway, well almost :) Don't you just love 'em!
