Brilliant weight-loss, taxi:j, you should be proud of yourself.
I think i might bite the bullet and give WW a try myself. Can lose weight fairly easily once I get started on a 'plan' but I love food so much (in other words I'm a glutton:o )that whatever I lose gets piled back on (plus some) before I know it.
You have been through so much physically and medically, have impeded mobility with your arthritis and back problems so can't exercise much, still manage to have well-deserved treats (such as when you go for lunches with DH or DD and those lovely friends the other day), your DH sounds like a cracking cook with the lovely meals he prepares and you still managed to lose 3 pounds. You're a marvel and I'm green with envy. Now the sun is out I've dug out my summer trousers and boy are they tight!!!!! Need to take a leaf out of your book for determination i think.
I hope the sun is shining on you today.
Take care X0 -

Thanks everyone...I love WWs for the fact that I don't have to miss out on any foods at all.I can have meals out, have ice cream, chocolate, crisps etc etc as long as I count the points in everything.I don't do any exercise whatsoever as spend most of my time on the couch but am hoping that I can do more as I recover and as my weight goes down.My losses will probably be slow to start with but I'll get there as long as it's going downwards that will help.
Todays plans are to
(1) Put some washing on
(2) Wash pots and put away
(3) Clean sink and toilet and empty bathroom bin
(4)Aldi for a few bits
(5) Cook beef joint ready for when DH gets in..yummy roast beef dinner today..DH will peel/chop/cook the veggies as I can't stand for long
(6)Pick JJ up from after school club
(7) Hoover downstairs
(8) Polish downstairs
(9) Tidy/sort papers
(10) Clean and tidy computer spaces
I may not get all these done but will try my best depending on energy levels.0 -
That's quite a list, taxi! Please think about yourself and don't attempt too much all at once. After all, you'll need all your energy for JJ over the weekend:)
I hope the sun keeps shining and that you have a lovely, fun weekend with him and your family.0 -
