Wow Taxi
It looks as if you have stored some more memories in your treasure box of family times with grand son.
What a lovely day I pictured your journey in the jag and a gaggle of ladies doing lunch crusing birminghams locks. ( in my mind you had a ?boat like the Venise adds - did you all have an ice cream! or a glass or two of juice)
Did you take any photos
Take care
Andrea

Good Morning all my lovelies..looks like a lovely sunny day ahead here even if a bit cold.
I had a really long sleep yesterday/today as fell asleep on sofa at 4pm and didn't wake up until 12.30am and was up a couple of hours and went back to sleep about 3am until 6.45am..so a lot of hours.
Dizzie...Happy was a word/feeling that hasn't featured so long for me that it was a great feeling when I felt it so it really stuck out for me.I think I'll get me some more of that as it felt good x
Tuna...you'd have laughed at the irony. As lunch was booked for 2.30pm and we'd left our breakfast meet up at slug and lettuce at turned 1pm and gone to the canal to get on a boat we found we'd missed one and that by the time the next one would be sailing and the amount of time it took for the cruise it would've made us too late for lunch. We then spotted a little boat which turned out to be a bus boat which was only an half hour cruise but no bar on board as it was a bus but it was PINK..lol...the right colour for a group of breast cancer ladies...it was still fun though.
None of us drank alcohol that day as most were driving.I didn't take any photos but the others did.I hate having my photo taken.
Thistle...I'm definitely turning that corner and when my energy comes back am going to take life by the short and curlies..lol
I'm feeling quite postive at the moment and am working at getting back to full strength and fitness.I have my weigh in at WWs tomorrow and am going to try and build walking up slowly which is hard at my weight and with my arthritis and still being fatigued from treatments but try I will.
On the MSE front am happy with my returns from my 123 account this month ...£23 after £2 fee.Think it was a good move to get that account.I also got the 123 CC account and made money on that but don't think I'll use it after 12 months as the places I shop don't tend to offer cashback.I use farm shops,Booths,Aldi and Lidl mainly when well enough to shop myself but when I send DD2 she goes to Asda for me so that earns cashback but is dearer but I'm getting stronger now so will be doing my own.I earn on fuel as we spend over £300 on that p/m.
I feel more awake today than I have in a long time which feels good..hope you all have a good day x0 -
Glad things are going well for you. A day out with a group of friends who have been in the same situation as you, is the best tonic. Just take small steps in your return to fitness. Keep up the good work.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000
