DH has gone to work this morning to try and earn a bit extra.
I've washed the pots/done some washing/drying and cooked lunch for today.Had breakfast and must now get dressed and nip to Lidl to pick a couple of bits up and then go bank some money.
This afternoon when DH goes to bed I will sort the filing cabinet and may make a start on the accounts as I really need to get these done..it probably won't take as long as I think.
Tomorrow DH is working during the day so I'll cook the dinner for both of us and we can have a quiet dinner then he can have a snooze before we go to DDs house. We decided we wanted a quiet christmas this year for a change.
Need to do some course work before my appointment on the 5th jan and also get JJs birthday present before the 3rd jan but will take him to town I think and he can pick what he wants.
I best get on as nothing will get done otherwise.
Hope you all have a fab weekend xxxx0 -
Hi Taxi, just thought I would pop by to wish you, Mr Taxi and the rest of the family a wonderful Christmas (and new year, if we don't bump into each other before then). Enjoy your quiet day - I bet with the size of your family there haven't been many of them!
and congratulations on the changes you have made in your life this year - you have done amazingly!

That sounds a good idea re driver, it gives DH a break, and again re hols there be some earnings towards subs.
The bloke by us use to have his own taxi, he did 4 shifts a week, then the driver did the others, he said that the other drivers share paid subs, bill etc, so his was profit.
Even for holiday time it keeps everything ticking over.
Hope you have a good rest, and big Merry Xmas to one and all xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks Mum2one and you too
I didn't get around to doing the accounts yesterday as it was busy here with people popping in and out.I peeled the veg last night and fell asleep about 8pm hence me being up at stupid o clock. Can't wait to see the grandchildren later JJ and Charlotte are so excited and Junior is too little but he loves all the lights and sparkly things.
Have a great day everyone xx0 -
Had a great day yesterday and was a complete change of plan in the end.
In the morning I went to DD1s for a couple of hours to watch the kiddies open the presents which was lovely. Then DD picked me up to drop me off at home as I was going to be cooking dinner for me and him.DD1 had still invited us for dinner so I mentioned it again to DH and this time he was up for it so he finished work at 12 as it was quiet and came home and got ready and off we went for a wonderful dinner and a great day.He enjoyed himself too which was good.
Have just stuck a roast beef in the oven as that was what we were meant to be having yesterday. The veg is already peeled as it was done ready for yesterdays dinner. It's lovely not to have lots of houseworky type jobs to do this morning as I hoovered yesterday and there are no pots to do this morning and no washing to do.0
