I don't blame you. Weather was rotten wasn't it? Took the snow off the car and cleared the drive a bit and my hands were frozen!!!

I don't believe in the concept of hell, but if I did I would think of it as filled with people who were cruel to animals.

The snow melted by last night and it was just rain, rain and more rain.Have put the bin out this morning and am waiting for the delivery of dog food plus the MHT are coming at dinner time.
DH cheque cleared yesterday so did the monthly shovel with Halifax to earn the £15 for the month and then transferred to my 123 account so it can be earning interest...that's about as MSE as I got yesterday.
I need to get some washing done and wash the pots but apart from that will probably just chill.

Just chilling is a great idea. The weather is miserable, what's the point in getting cold and wet? Anyway your immune system's not going to be working as well as it should, so not getting yourself in a situation where you could pick up a bug ought to be the order of the day!

You sound quite down with that again, Taxi - mind you, my mum lives on the coast just south of you, and she was shocked to get snow, they so rarely get it there. Not surprised you cancelled ... rain isn't much better, of course :( Relaxing is good. Take care.

guess I am a bit down Karma..think it may be because I can't put this cancer stuff to bed yet but not sure really.
I've brought the bin back in and cleaned the sink and toilet in the bathroom..can't clean the bath as my back aches if I try to do that so will have to wait for DD to help with that.
Am going to wash pots and put the washing in shortly and make a brew.I have to pace myself.
