Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, used a lot for people with ME I understand, it helps you cope with every day stuff which means when bigger stuff hits you you can find coping mechanisms for that as well!

  • Hi Taxi, CBT is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. If you're in the mood to read up this gives a brief explanation:

I'm glad it was okay - I always think of CBT as being like first aid, Taxi, it gives you procedures you can use to help yourself. They know you're not crazy, don't worry about that!

Just be you and be honest, that way they will fully understand and be able to help you, good luck. , will be thinking of you, had a dream about you the other night btw which is Bizzare, but the dream was a good one :) let us know how you go xxxx

    That sounds good!;)

Shouldn't laugh - last Fri changed my car - brought a friends and they had to drive it 2hr journey - fri afternoon was shattered so went for 40 winks - some weird reason woke up been dreaming about the lad - in the dream saw a living room with the stairs in the corner of the room, but I felt that the banister was loose and the stairs were the old fashioned steps that were open -that the house was oddly laid out, but I felt that I needed to tell him. That ngt they brought the car round, we all went out for an indian to celebrate (him, his gf, her parents, me and DD), - the mum knows I have these odd moments - at the mo the lad and his gf are in their 1st rented house - but are looking at another one nearer work. Told them - I thought it might be to do with a new house - no apparently when the lad was about 8, his grandparents lived in an upside down house, staircase was in front room, - bedrooms downstairs as well as front room and they'd converted the upstairs area to a front room - as a kid running up the stairs he missed his footing, went straight through the open part of the step and he fell backwards - very odd!!
