Yep, I agree, boring is underrated, when it comes to recovery! Though, yep, a boring love life is not good either, and I too can testify to that :)

Taxi, I'm glad you've seen an improvement in one of the issues, your arm, but horrible to have a cold on top of everything else you're dealing with. Hope you can get rid of it soon.

yep me too..think my body and mind is having some kind of shutdown with all the illnesses going on...fungal infection, cold, infection in picc line.runs,no appetite..hopefully the antibs will clear things up...don't think my body could've handled the dye for the scan on top of everything else yesterday

Karma is right, boring is very under-estimated for recovery. Your body has enough to deal with right now, your poor immune system is struggling as it is.

Stay warm and cosy, let your brain shut down a little. Watch Saturday afternoon films. It's far too cold to go out anyway, I'm trying to avoid it at the moment, spending my time on here instead of going to clear the path.

Don't blame anyone staying in in this weather as it's probably the safest thing to do

Slow and steady wins the race, Taxi: just keep yourself on an even keel and don't try doing anything too fast or interesting else your body might just decide to give you a speeding ticket! ;)

I'm glad your arm is starting to get better and that the cream is doing its job as well. You're getting there, one bit at a time...now we just need to stop you getting new complaints like the cold (I hear echinacea and big oranges help that, if you feel up to it). xxx :)

Yup! And no accelerating down the stairs or doing laps of the living room, either! ;)
