Hello Tilly,
Well done on decluttering the loft in this weather! Getting rid of so much must lift your spirits hugely.
I have a son in the forces. Happy to talk about being a military mum, as it is something they don't really go into during induction but it is a very unique situation which I find others don't really understand. Do PM if you would like to, but I do understand if you would rather not pre-empt feelings that you may never experience!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
The sun is shining
Imagine two sets of patio doors, opening from the middle, and the glass sliding back over the fixed window, one to the left and the other to the right. That's as much as I can manage in terms of description :rotfl: Will give us about 8' of 'open space' when fully opened. Leading on to the garden and terrace should make it feel/look quite modern but without having to have the windows that concertina when open. I worry that the gliding motion will become sticky over time on that type.
Any road up - today will find me mainly ironing, drying my tears as N@west turned me down for PPI claim and sorting paperwork.
Gally, we could meet in Seville in spring and then come back here for a weekend. Coach back to Seville then onwards for you?
