I can't sit down........my but! was well and truy kicked by the kids at wii games. I wil just have to stand up all evening :rotfl:
Had a great day and feel better already.
Weronika, on the phone front, I had a new one from work and it was so blinking complicated I had to give it to the kids to set up for me:rotfl: I did feel like a idiot.
Weird weather today, blue sky, then rain, then blue sky, then black clouds, then hail - hopefully it will keep off this evening as DH and I a going for a romantic walk to see if the bluebells are about yet. Ah....

Isn't that what you grew them for
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hi GG, I can't remember if you are still away but if so, hope you are having a fab time.
Yep, I think dishwasher emptying, phone sorting plus other assorted tasks are definitely what they were grown for

Went on our walk but we got soaked - bluebells are on their way but too early for a romantic walk through them.
Early start tomorrow and quite a few tasks to complete however, it will get us ahead of the curve (sorry ATT I couldn't resist that), resulting in the next few weeks being a little less rushed.
I have some fruit to use up so will be making apple cake, banana and chocolate muffins, plus some home made ice cream, with a little apple in as well. Mmmmmm. Hopefully that will tide us over the next few days.
To catch up on some sleep, I am going to have an early night so off for a lavender bath now and then turning in for the night.
Best wishes, Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi, I have been to the Halifax but goodness they were pushy. I need to check the small print as I think I have to switch a couple of things from one of my other accounts, so that can be achieved. Will look at opening on line if possible. The bloke I spoke to was driving me up the wall, so I guess they are incentivised. However free money is worth the effort.
Have had a reasonably lazy day on holiday. Mooching around, banana and choc muffins made, apple cake made, apple icecream in ice cream maker at the moment, so that will be a lovely dessert for tonight. Making a curry this evening ready for tomorrow evening.
No money spending and I will be keeping it that way until I am paid next week. No weekly shop this Friday apart from milk, apples, pears. That money will come out of the loose change purse.
I counted the money in piggy which I am saving up to pay for a remembrance meal in November for my two relatives who passed away. On track so far - I guess I should put it into the bank and offset but I actually like to pop the £2, £1 coins in

Morning, just a quick post before the doggy walky/run. Sun is out and another bike ride just hours away. DS and I are going to see whether I can cycle to the town  Not sure about that but will give it a go. We can always turn round and come home.
So looking forward to being paid - now do bear with me, this is not because I am some addicted OP nut, but from last pay day cash, I filled all the savings pots to get them to what they should have been by March. So when I am paid this month, I can see that the standing orders we set up, are all working well, and the pots will grow without manual intervention. Just what I want to see.
Kids ISAs will be sorted this morning, so that's another job off the list as well. I am fancying a trip to IKeA as well but perhaps should avoid that.

No idea where today went. Fantastic bike ride with DS and whilst I couldn't make it into town, I did get 2/3 of the way there, which was further than I had anticipated.
Cleaner has been today and in three hours managed to turn the house into a palace, slight exaggeration, but at least I am not knee deep in dog hair :rotfl: Cats and dogs moulting so it is a daily chore to vacuum.
I have applied for the Halifax accounts so hopefully that will be fine.
Tomorrow I am potting up tomatoes, chillies, basil. Earthing up potatoes and planting more salad leaves. I am also going to get some sprouting seeds on the go in the house ready for salads. Can't wait - they are so easy to grow and full of goodness, even the kids like them.....

First real view of daily interest and it is £20.50 so within 6 weeks it has fallen from £45 pd. A drop of £24.50 a day - fantastic.
Must get signature updated. Our mortgage debt has dropped to £280k due to an interim bonus payment to DH. Good man. So just £5k off first target which will be achieved next week. I cannot believe the difference going back to off set has made. This morning I feel full of regret for having a mortgage with the Spanish bank and basically wasting 5 years. There are still moments when I could kick me and Mr Tilly for being so financially inept in the past. I guess as we carry on the journey and continue to do the right thing, then these moments of agh! will reduce and eventually stop all together.
Let's get the bar set again, after next week the target to hit will be £250k, aiming to achieve in September - in order to hit our target of 4/8/16 I really needed to do that in August but am keeping some money back for home improvements again. As our date has been set with no salary increase or bonus assumptions, we will achieve it - remind me I said that in July 2016:)

Previously I have had no luck at growing fruit and veg but am trying again this year. So far I have plenty of strawberry and raspberries on the go. I've planted some tomato seeds with the intention of growing them in pots and after reading my free veg guide am keen to try courgette (seems easy) and rocket (as it's so expensive!) I really love the idea of going in the garden to pick ingredients.
