Hi Tilly,
Hope you are taking things at a steady pace, we want you to be fighting fit when you are mortgage free;).
You're my inspiration too:AWeight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

What a day :j
Glorious sun
:)
I've achieved more today than I have for literally months. Given how active I normally am, I have really had to learn to slow down and basically stop, doing just a couple of tasks a day.
Today though, I have:-
Emptied and loaded DW
Emptied and reloaded washing machine
Dried washing on line, which meant pegging out
Complete three lots of physio exercises (two sets done, 240 and another 120 to go)
Our bathroom cleaned from top to bottom
All surfaces in our room sorted, cleaned and less stuff put back
Airing cupboard emptied, sorted and everything put away
Mr Ts boxer and sock drawer has been Kondoed
My underwear drawer has been Kondoed
Dining table cloth washed and drying on line
OK, don't laugh - one pair of socks which were extremely religious (holey :rotfl:) used to clean the bath and basin, then thrown away
DS is finishing his ironing now:)
Everything is ready for dinner.
I have to say I'm worn out but feeling really pleased.

Sounds great, Tilly! But make sure you rest now, okay? Otherwise, it's boom and bust - and you don't want to injure all the wonderful progress you've made. Good for you

Cor, I need a sit down just from reading what you've been up to. If that is when you are recuperating, what'll you be like when fully recovered, eh? Have a lovely peace-filled weekend dear Tilly xNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

to finish, our mahoosive bed has fresh linen and towels on a hot wash.
I'm now sitting with a glass of wine awaiting Mr Ts return :T
Thanks Karmacat, I'm still pacing myself with regular stops in between tasks but I am enjoying the fact that the house is returning to normal.
Apple Muncher, I look at you and Gally and wonder whether I'll ever get back to being able to work that quickly. I am truly hoping I can.
Beautiful evening.

Sounds like a very productive day!
Mrs E has banned me from reusing any old clothes as rags, she still has terrors when remembering her Mum using her Dad's old pants to do the dusting when she was younger :rotfl:
I have no idea what Kondoe is, can someone educate me?0 -
my mothers only housework tip was to dust with washing on its way to the machine ..........Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
