Isn't that the whole point to getting rid of our mortgages early, so there is more money for wine
Or is that just me...........A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Morning, ticking along in the Tilly household. A few mishaps but as usual much laughter alongside them.
TCB money arrived and OPd
Off to buy DD new bedding and a mattress topper. When she switched rooms at home we left the bed DS used and she finds it too hard. First world problems but given her kindness she deserves it
I can't believe she's heading to the end of year 1 at Uni. Where did the time go
I'd better get cracking as Mr T is chauffeuring me

All of us live in the first world, Tilly, and 99% of what we share is first world problems - the exceptions are maybe the floods of 2013/14, things like that.
I like the sound of being chauffeured about - especially with some family laughter going on. Hope the rest of your day is like that :kisses3:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Great to hear your break is going so well Tilly, I'm sure it will do you all the world of good
and yep year one nearly finished :eek::eek: that has flown by so so fast, next thing you know she will be graduating
have fun and erm I'm currently off the wine so feel free to have my share0 -
What a brilliant weekend. I've had more of a supervisory role as Mr T is keeping an eye on me. The painting of raised beds is done. Lettuce which I've grown indoors has been planted out but under a cloche. DD has spray painted a large pot in a funky colour for the garden. We decided to paint some other trellis, and it's halfway through, will be completed next week.
The hounds have loved having us all in the garden
DD loved her mattress topper and bedding
I think that's it on the spending front - definitely need to batten down the hatches and stop.
As I'm expecting not to be working after the next three months, I think I wanted to complete some tasks beforehand. No news on this yet but I'm ever hopeful.

Well done on being wine free at the moment. Since our break away, I'm off alcohol again. I am quite happy with water and soft drinks most of the time, then wine for time away and special occasions.
