Seconded what the others said - decent of him to stay but how annoying
How many breakfasts are you having tomorrow.

Evening, Mr T has started the insurance claim and the process looks pretty efficient.
It was an oldish chap who hit the car and he was upset about it. At least, as Karmacat mentioned, Mr T was not in the car so no real harm done.
Dinner was an eclectic mix of leftovers, with a joint of pork :rotfl: Carrot and cucumber salad in an Asian dressing, roast peppers and tomatoes and pork - ok, may sound odd but actually tasted delicious.
I want to head out early in the morning as I appear to have a list of jobs and given I'm trying to pace myself, this is always challenging.
On a very positive note, the raised beds have been topped up with veggie compost and have their hats on to warm the soil up :T. More seeds to plant indoors tomorrow :j
DS has had us in fits of laughter tonight and it's a joy to see the two youngsters together. Mr T was crying with laughter at one point, and for those MSEers who have met him, he's not exactly the crying type :rotfl:
Right, early start tomorrow and my menu plan appears to have gone AWOL. I need to grab my plan and shopping list before I leave the house.

Evening, well just
Mr T and DS have been on a roll today. The stones between our raised beds have been topped up and raked - all looks very neat and tidy.
Grocery shopping done for the few days Mr T and I are away. Having a DS who is taking after his father in height, means he has growth spurts, which seem to require tons of calories. I have a fridge full of meat, fish and veg and they can choose their own recipes :rotfl:
GG, your scarf happens to go very well with a new short mac I bought today - THANK YOU :T
It is HM pizza night for the kids and Mr T and I are having salmon and salad.
I've had a lovely time looking through all my seeds to check what I'm planting next. Love it :j
Have a Happy Easter

That all sounds good, Tilly - gardening and food, gardening and food - lovely stuff.
I remember when my business partner's son was 13 or so - a snack for him was a lunch for us, couple of big sandwiches and a sticky cake! Just didn't stop eating ... good luck with all that.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hope the car is repaired without too much inconvenience and glad to hear there is some honesty about.
Tilly, I get much of my gardening motivation amd influence from you so loving the raised bed talk! All I've done so far is tidy and top up with compost so you have given me a little project for this coming week and next weekend. Think I will start some seeds off this week and involve the children as they love going out to harvest our produce.
Hope you are feeling much better too Tilly xJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
