Sorry you have been poorly. Hope the kids well?
  • There may be some hidden treasures in there..... You will feel a great sense of satisfaction when it is done!

Where do the paper mountains come from :eek:

Neat pile of tasks to tackle - not finished yet though.

Kids have been a huge help and DS has scarified the lawns and DD has emptied and loaded DW, sorted washing and made lunch.

    Relaaaaaaaax now

  • Rain, on a BH weekend - who would have thought it possible :)

    It's pouring.

L!dl and Ald! visited yesterday :). I'm now the proud owner of a chiminea at a bargain price and Mr T seasoned it as well - not sure that's the right word but it needs four small fires, leaving them to go cold in between, before using. At least this way, we are ready to go when we want to use it :)

Church this morning then paper mountain completion

Boultdj, I completely agree about paper mountains - it's ridiculous the way it accumulates.

Right I'm off, Mr T has just delivered a cuppa.

Best wishes and I hope somewhere in the UK there's sun.

I think there's a breeding population under the stairs, and it all flows out from there :D

Hope you have a lovely day too - and seconding your hope that there's sun somewhere in the country, but I've got rain too, and there are weather warnings and flood warnings in all sorts of places  I'm just thankful I don't have any of that!

Wishing you a speedy recovery Tilly. Hope the rest of your bank holiday is sunny. Sounds like your garden is coming on well. You really do inspire me to keep growing homegrown produce and try new things. Basil however was an epic fail!

Afternoon, whole day spent in the garden and DD has painted an old unit to become my potting bench :T

Both kids have been revising and had plenty of fresh air as well.

Weather today has been, and remains, truly glorious.

The broad bean plants are going well and the cucumber seeds have sprouted :T. They're under a cloche at the moment but I'm hoping they grow outside ok. Chilli seeds are doing well inside. Yesterday I had a cheese and HG lettuce sandwich - delicious.

Mr T has shredded the greenery that he chopped down yesterday which saved filling the car. He's taken the rubbish from the garage to the tip :)

All in all, life is on a much better footing. Poor health is difficult and I'm glad I'm coming out the other side now.

    Best wishes, Tilly x x x

What a difference a day makes, eh Tilly?

We have spent the weekend hiding from the rain and joined our fellow humans in a traffic jam in the sunshine to get to somewhere outside of the city for a pub lunch :)

Glad to hear you are on the mend, but starting to wish I hadn't read about you clearing out your paperwork, now it's on my to do list!

I suppose I really should make sure everything's in order as part of will preparations etc. anyway.

Take care and enjoy what's left of the day :)
