Glad things are returning to normality.

I'm doing to sort my paperwork this week.

I did it a few months ago, but I've been doing so much life admin, the paper has ballooned again.

This time, I won't let it build up again!!

  • Morning, up and put bright and early. Rain is pouring down and I moved three snails from my veg bed before leaving home.

As I can't drive at the moment I booked a taxi, asked for approximate cost beforehand. I was ripped off a couple of weeks ago so glad I checked:)

I'm planning a restful day when home, cleaning two mirrors, encouraging DS to finish the ironing and DW/WM catch ups.

£2.43 to claim from TCB :)
    £6 from PC
    Plus cereal arrived to test

Sounds good, Tilly, I hope you can close your eyes in the taxi and not feel you have to chat to sociable taxi drivers!**

I agree, chatty taxi drivers are fine when you're in the mood to chat, but a nightmare when you CBA. I remember a 30 mile trip to catch a 05:30 flight and the guy would not shut up. Every time your eyes drooped, out would come another topic of conversation :rotfl:

Poor guy, I'm sure that he was just trying to stay awake!

  • Hi AJ, we've had a few over the last year but keep the house free for mum at key times of the year :)

    Good to *see* you.

  • OMG, I've just watched KM sock folding tutorial - how neat is that :)

As I'm slightly incapicated at the moment I can't start yet but I'm definitely doing that ASAP.

So where are we with money - £16 spent on lunch yesterday. Not as nice as normal 'ladies wot lunch' haunt but given I'm not driving, it sufficed. Much chatter, a few tears (mine), and a fair few laughs were had. I'm going to miss you GG - who would have thought a virtual world can bring such lovely friendships in RL.

I'm on second cup of tea so far. 33p Tilly Tidied to MOS :)

Out for lunch today and looking forward to a good old catch up.

At some point in the nearish future I'll be back to work :o

    Best wishes Tilly x
