Oh my gosh - you only have one year left Tilly, that's really fantastic. Well Done!

Will you still be frequenting the forum once the mortgage has been paid? x

Hi Lula, to be precise we have 9 payments left to go :T

OMG that really does make it real :)

Where have the last three years gone?

I think I will be like Squirrel and pop in and out. Our focus then will be retirement plans. As Mr T is a few years younger, we want to have both finished work when he's 50 but with some Tilly family focus, earlier than that would be be fab.

An old endowment pays out mid year which will clear a chunk.

    YAY

9 payments is nothing - you'll be free in no time :D

Thanks everyone for dropping by. It really is incredible that we are so close.

I remember writing a post when I said we had 45 payments left  To think that's down to 9 now is pretty overwhelming :)

I've had a lovely catch up with DD and for anyone who has followed my post on Greying's diary, she has increased her portions on days when she is exercising more. I'm definitely happier about this and given that she's so petite, she hadn't really focussed on needing to eat more.

She's becoming a bit of an expert on soup making in the SC. She also made a tortilla to make use of some potatoes and other veggies which needed using. I'm pleased she's getting stuck in.

9 payments is superb Tilly, well done :T.

  • Morning, may I just say this site is 'doing my head in'

I have written three posts this morning, each one has frozen and I've lost the lot.

    I'm on strike now

Oh bleep! After such a wonderful evening when you were revelling in only 9 more mortgage payments! Have you tried writing your post in your browser, Tilly, and then cut and pasting?

Still, many congratulations on the nearness of the mortgage, thats wonderful.
