Keeping a diary for three years is a feat in itself, let alone the reduction in the mortgage that has gone with itEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Happy anniversary and many thanks for sharing with us. You keep many of us on track!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!

Hi Tilly and happy diary anniversary from me too, you and family Tilly have made brilliant progress :j
Thought I'd just also share a Nectar points update while I'm here tooin case it helps anyone else
With effect from April 11th 2015 the S@insburys Nectar points system will be changing whereby one point per pound spend will be earned (currently you earn two), points for using own bags will be removed but there will be no change to fuel spend/points.
From what I can see, points already saved will have no changes re spend value and you will still get £2.50 off for every 500 points.
Regards

Morning, final year of mortgage commences
After posting most days over three years, it's hard to believe that by this time next year we will have been MF two months :T
PC survey in the bag
Garden shredder replacement blades purchased, cheaper than online plus discount negotiated (10%)
Mr T returns this evening and I'm making a veggie chilli. All the ironing is done, thanks to back to back conference calls
Study needs a polish and vacuum and I'll tackle that whilst the chilli is cooking. As Mr T won't be home until after 8, I have time on my side.
I'd better crack on.
Best wishes Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi Tilly,
Just thought I'd drop in and offer my congratulations (along with many others) for your diary anniversary and the tremendous OP on the mortgage. It will be a great feeling to turn the key in the door of your house knowing it is YOUR home :j. Do you still have plans to purchase another home for Miss T? I think this is a great idea, and I wish I was in a position to do the same. I do keep hearing that the property market is due for an adjustment in price, not sure whether this is just seasonal or maybe because of he general election next May? I wonder what you and others think of this. My own thoughts are that prices are steadying and it is unlikely that there is going to be much movement either way for the next 8-9 months. However, I also think that prices are so regionalised a bit of local knowledge goes a long way.
I hope you enjoy your trip to the theatre it will really help you to put you and your into the Christmas spirit....as if you needed this!
:rotfl:
Bye for now
