What do you use the left over for I struggle a bit as it is still a bit too fatty for sandwiches I find and DH doesn't like the way the edges got dark and crispy.
How about stir frying the leftover belly pork? This is a big favourite in our house.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Pork and beans..I recommend a variation of the Jersey Bean Crock..dead cheap and v v tasty. As the meat is already cooked you'll have to work around that but it'll be yum. Its on my meal planner for sometime in the next fortnight given this wintry weather!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Sorry for late input on hummous.
That recipe of Ed's is very similar to the Rachel Allen one I've used in the past. But I must admit that I usually buy my hummous. Must try making it again with that recipe.
Thanks.

Hiya, I love Delia, but interestingly she isn't appealing to either of my kids. Mary B£rry with TGBBO has influenced this age group in my opinion.
Loving the recipe ideas.
Sadly no pork left, it all went but I did serve extra large portions of meat as we were all starving as it was so late.
It's rained on and off all day, although it does look like it's dried up now.
TCB confirmed the insurance payment so hopefully that will appear before Xmas.
Plus £9 from PC surveys ready to move again.
I'd better carry on working - am WFH today and thought I'd take a few minutes out to catch up.

OH makes humous usually. Just chucks it all in the blender as far as I can see but it's something similar to that one but with more tahini and garlic. Great with crudites as a heathy snack and cheap as chips..MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi Tilly I love cooking belly pork as well I use Loraine Pascale's receipe with pears but find all the veg gets a bit greasy. The rind does bubble up nice under a hot grill at the end. What do you use the left over for I struggle a bit as it is still a bit too fatty for sandwiches I find and DH doesn't like the way the edges got dark and crispy.
Good luck to Mr T with the job hunting just keep going.

Hi Tilly
My colleague said the TK pork was alright but that he wouldn't be cooking it again. The accompanying black cabbage salsa however was yummy :rotfl:

Morning MWC, I'd agree with your colleague. The pork was very tasty, but the crackling was poor. I've cooked pork may times and always had a good cracking
.
Sadly I didn't cook the cabbage or put lentils as my DK and DH didn't fancy them
