Not sure I can guarantee that - two kids and all that, lets hope Mr T doesn't make me laugh.

I will need to change my signature to show the mortgage finishing in around 2024, although being practical a) Mr T will definitely land a job in the next year and b) god forbid he didn't get a job, once we have cleared a further £100k we could simply sell up and retire. Clearing that won't be done overnight though, so the frugality will continue.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

I'm going to say the opposite (cos that's that I tend to do) - I wouldn't alter your plan at all and I would keep the signature exactly as it was.... In my mind, making the amends is almost like accepting what has been thrown at you.
Keep with your original plan and stay focused on what needs to be done in order to reach the goals that you are seeking - and, it will happen. I'm a strong believe in positive thinking and I know you are too, so don't let this stand in your way. Mr T will have a fantastic new job sooner than later and you will have the spare Redundancy money to throw at the mortgage - so infact, you will reach your goal even sooner.
I agree with Natty - might be worth sharing some details as to what Mr T does and is looking for, networking can be amazing.....

I dunno. Some people work best if they set an optimistic target and strive hard for it, and if they don't make it they feel glad they tried and proud of how close they got.
Other people need to have a target that's definitely achievable, and then get a kick out of doing better than the target.
One's not better than the other, it's just a personality thing. I'm one of the second kind. Whether or not you change your targets in your sig depends on which kind you are.
Hope it all becomes academic when Mr T gets his fab new job very very soon.Starting again 13/4/19Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99Total owed: £28,801.49

Tilly - bung the extra milk up here, I'm almost out .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Good morning
No pennies anywhere to TT
The 'empty the freezer' project is going well - I'm going to give it a sort out tonight and double check the menu plan for the next week and a bit. Mr T has asked for chilli this evening, I use a SW recipe and it's mmmmmmmmm. I had thought I was fairly good about shopping but it goes to show that we can probably all do better in terms of cutting the grocery bill. I now have a door shelf in the fridge with space :rotfl:
I realised this morning, when I woke up, that Monday would have been my major OP (I do them in three ways - TTs, 1 large OP, plus anything else I squirrel away). That explains why I've felt so strange this week. However, we will get back on track, of that I have no doubt, I'd just rather it was today, not in a year's time
Have a good day - it's fairly cloudy and cool at the moment - I hope it warms up I have a little washing to do.
Best wishes
