    It's great watching our young one grow into wonderful adults ... I find with master el I have this enormous sense of pride and love I never thought achievable ... Well done Miss Tilly for learning one of life's difficult lessons from such a young age :)

    Hope you manage to find the right lodger soon, I bet the house feels quiet. When I look back I am appalled at the amount of money I spent as a teenager. I've worked since I was 15 but didn't build up any savings. I improved once I hit about 19 though and became pretty good with money!

    Hi Tilly

    I have been reading your diary from the start, currently on page 162, and I am really enjoying it. The way your family are all working towards the goal is really inspiring. As a mum to a young toddler I hope to instil similar values and beliefs in my own child and spend quality time as a family, at low cost, during our MFW journey. Your children sound like lovely young people.

    So far you have given me a new way to tackle meal planning, I have made a note in my diary to start collecting ready to deliver a parcel to the local food bank twice this year and have just made my first Tilly Tidy to my mortgage of 36p:D

    I will be cheering along with the rest of the MFW when your mortgage starts first with a 1 and then with a big fat zero.:D
