Hope you manage to find the right lodger soon, I bet the house feels quiet. When I look back I am appalled at the amount of money I spent as a teenager. I've worked since I was 15 but didn't build up any savings. I improved once I hit about 19 though and became pretty good with money!

    Hi Tilly

I have been reading your diary from the start, currently on page 162, and I am really enjoying it. The way your family are all working towards the goal is really inspiring. As a mum to a young toddler I hope to instil similar values and beliefs in my own child and spend quality time as a family, at low cost, during our MFW journey. Your children sound like lovely young people.

So far you have given me a new way to tackle meal planning, I have made a note in my diary to start collecting ready to deliver a parcel to the local food bank twice this year and have just made my first Tilly Tidy to my mortgage of 36p:D

I will be cheering along with the rest of the MFW when your mortgage starts first with a 1 and then with a big fat zero.:D

******goes back to lurking and reading page 163*******

The house feels empty without someone else here.

I wish I'd learnt the lessons you did at 19 :o

  • Hi XSpender, loos like I might have to dig gold stars out for you too. Reading my diary from end to end must be hard work.

If anything I rabbit on about helps someone else, then I'm a very happy woman :T

I'll check whether you have started a diary.

    Best wishes Tilly x
