Please don't do a Natty, at least wear them under something else :rotfl: what happens if you need fuel, or your car breaks down

I'm thinking of going the other way....if I go to bed fully dressed that should solve all eventualities.

    Sorted:D

  • Morning, NSD ahead, dinner made for this evening, ironing to do tonight, bath and an early night required. It's been manic at work, then we've been very sociable the last couple of weeks and I need to recharge my batteries.

In fact I am still in bed, just about to have a cup of tea, then dash about madly to get into the office :rotfl:

Enjoy those quiet minutes before the world invades your privacy :)
  • Evening, chicken tagine was fab so can definitely recommend the recipe :)

    No money spent today

I am SO missing having a lodger, the house feels empty. Fortunately the income went straight off the mortgage so at least we didn't rely on it, so it is definitely just down to the quietness. What on earth will I be like when the kids move out :rotfl:

    17p TT OP made.

Pay day is just two weeks away,so looking forward to that.

Have a good evening, Tilly x

    Hi there

Pants re not having the lodger..any likely candidates? Anywhere else to look or advertise?

We may not need our childcarer after this summer..kids growing up yadda yadda..and we think we will advertise for a Monday- Friday lodger..the websites make it seem like there are people who want a place for the weekdays only. Am not sure I could stand sharing full time..although as I do now so maybe that's not the right approach!

All good here. Still feeling very very good after the long break. Can recommend it!:)

  • Hi Brizzle, we only have Mon-Fri lodgers and they come in waves in terms of people looking. Placement time for Uni's, new financial years etc, so we will find one, and in fact we could have taken discussions further with one, but they were working shifts and I didn't fancy that :)

There are far more people working and commuting so it is a growing market.

Glad to hear your break did you good. I'm looking forward to holidays this year :)

    Best wishes Tilly x x

Should have thought about that before you extended the patio :rotfl:.
