I actually have a couple more but didn't think I'd better list them - I don't want you starting a savings pot for stripping activities or bush tidying, just good clean yawny :money: ones

I remember intelligent finance... That's where my whol savings pots/jars references come from.

Thankfully with NW I can change the names, just aswell or I would lose track....

    I have:
    Christmas
    Birthdays
    Car stuff
    House ins
    Lula treats
    DH treats
    Kids treats/pocket money
    Haircuts
    Ent/activities
    Eating out
    Fuel
    Holiday
    Emergency saves
    Isa

The children each have their own savings accounts too.

    Erm, I think that's it.

I then also have 2 current accounts, one of which has an amount transferre each month for food and other bits. The main one is where we get paid and all ddm's/ transfers come out of.

I have one spreadsheet with several pages; one for each current account and then the CC.

Can't believe I'm sharing all of this nerdy stuff!!
  • Lula, I think we are all as mad as each other :D

We're all doing some amazing things to help our journey and seeing Spiggle's latest update on 2012 OP was fab - so close to £1m in OPs :j:j:j

This is the only place I know where it feels safe to let my inner geek out of the closet. My money spreadsheet not only has lots of pages, but it has graphs as well. :o
    Starting again 13/4/19
    Home loan 1: £21,102.50 Home loan 2: £7,698.99
    Total owed: £28,801.49

I feel inadequate from a spreadsheet point of view, I have so much to learn :rotfl:

  • Dinner tomorrow is fish pie using the last of the frozen parsley, bargainous loin of cod and a small tin of salmon. That's all the potatoes, cod, parsley used up.

I think I will have 1 completely empty drawer tomorrow when we sort the freezer. I'll fill it with plastic bags so it's not empty.

Money updates completed tonight. Spending still on track but fuel is SO expensive.
